I've had this fridge for about a month now and I love it. The led lights which slowly lights up the interior is fantastic, the ice maker is very convenient, the water comes out slow but its a bonus to be able to get a glass of water that's filtered. The only complaint I have about this fridge is the produce and cheese drawers. They rub when you pull them out and it feels like their scratching the plastic. You would expect smooth operation for a appliance thats over $1000. I asked a Best Buy employee and his answer was to put soap on the drawers, I thought that was a little ridiculous. Why should you have to put soap on a drawer to make it slide smoothly? Shouldn't it work properly in the first place?

The Gallery line has a distinct classier look and it's the 3rd time I have purchased it for my rental properties.

The Frigidaire Gallery fits well in the small space we have but it is the perfect size for our family. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator and freezer with enough adaptability to work great for us. Easy to keep clean inside and out. Love having water and ice outside of the door!

I like my new refrigerator. It fits my limited space just about perfect.

One of the main reasons I selected this model, other than width constraints, was the neat little pizza box storage compartment next to the freezer at the top, which you can see when looking at the picture of the loaded up refrigerator. My icebox comes all the way across. I called Frigidaire to inquire about this and they told me the extra two digits in the model number (not seen on ANY website) was the reason for the variance. Every single picture on every single website shows that storage spot for this unit. And since nobody carries much stock anymore, you can't see what you get before hand other than what is displayed at the website. As consumers we now need to account for variances in something we can't see before we get it, and assume it will be OK anyway? It works well, order an extra upper door bin (P/N 281808203, Amazon has them) as you'll need more room for gallon sized drinks. The third drawer in this size of fridge really takes away from the ability to have two large shelf areas, I'm debating just leaving out the top drawer altogether. The rear mounted ice maker will make ice slower, so if you have a heavy ice using household, look for the side mounted ice maker units instead. As others have noticed, it does seem to make quite a bit of noise. I'm beginning to think I have a division of Keebler elves working on a cold product line in their somewhere, but I don't know if that is really unusual or not. Haul away and Installation was professional and courteous. They won't touch existing water line, make sure you can account for that on your own. The only reason (at the moment) for the 3 stars is because I didn't get what was pictured. Frigidaire should not be selling "variances", just sell what you show.

So far so good. The look is tremendous. We went from an old white thing that leaked, to this. Never had water or ice before. They are a welcome commodity. Here are the good and bad: Ice - made it fast and taste good. It can get sloppy if you don't have the cup right up against the spout. Crushed Ice - neat. Can get sloppy like above. Does a decent job in crushing it but you still get half a cube sometimes. Water - love the filter. Very slow though. Similar to my Pur filter on my faucet. Wished it was faster. There is a plastic tray within the cup spot. You can leave a large cup in there to fill up but the tray bends so the cup could potentially fall on the floor. Lighting - I like the slow lighting effect. Size - We have a small spot for a fridge that could not be widened without doing some remodeling, so we were forced to find something 35 inches in width or less. This model says 35 but it bowed out on the sides a little. The delivery man said that it's because of the insulation. Truly if they say 35 inches wide, then it shouldn't be 35.5...even after adding the insulation. Packaging - this is where the company loses huge points. The metal had a plastic film all over it. That was smart because you don't want it scratched during delivery. However the pieces were put together with the plastic STILL ON. So when you tried to take it off, it kept ripping. I spent well over an hour trying to pry little pieces of plastic out of grooves, under screws, and behind shelves. Why would they do that? They screwed right through the plastic! Crazy. Looks - very nice stainless steel look. Fingerprints are an issue on the handles though. I would gladly buy this again and recommend it. Any negativity above is minor compared to the positives.

Purchased about a month ago and so far am very pleased. The smudge proof is great with 2 kids. It has shelves that are very deep and 2 that slide out. The egg carton doesn't fit in the top shelf on door like my old one. The water and ice comes out fast. Heard reviews of it being noisy but it is pretty quiet except when you can hear the water filling up to make ice. I think it's just from the long, stainless steel line it has to go through. Nothing that bothers us too much. All in all very happy with it.

I love the fridge and I'm an LED freak and enjoy the LED lighting it provides inside the fridge. The thru-the-door water/ice had some strange over-stamping on the sheet metal. I emailed Frigidaire and after sending some photos, they sent me a replacement door. An appliance company came out and replaced the door for me and hauled the old one off; no expenses on my part. The replacement door addressed the cutout and is as it should be; the dispenser is flush now. The new door had some minor scuffs on it, but I guess it's a trade-off. I also noticed that since the door was replaced, the water dispenser LED lighting automatically lights up. It didn't do this before hand; so not sure if I missed a setting to enable that or not.

We absolutely love the fridge. It's quite, produces ice really quickly and has plenty of space for a side-by-side that is only 33" wide. I have found that it is a little difficult to get the shelves adjusted, but its not like that is something you are going to do very often. We also love the fact that it has the chill drawer. We really don't use it for its intended purpose, but it works great for lunch meats and cheeses, since when shopping around we noticed that many 33" side-by-sides don't have a cheese drawer. The crisper drawers are also very nice and do seem to keep our vegetables longer. We've had the fridge for about 1 1/2 months now and seems to be holding up...knock on wood. At the end of the day I don't think you can find a better 33" stainless steel fridge for the money!

The refrigerator looks good and I love the LED lighting. It's very easy to see in the fridge and freezer. The temperature in refrigerator is great - no more food not being kept cold enough! The problem is the ice maker. Prior to purchasing this refrigerator I read a few reviews about the ice maker, but overall, most people seemed to be very pleased it. I am not one of them. When placing a cup or glass in the door for ice, the ice jams. At first you don't realize it's jammed and keep pressing for ice. When you open the door to inspect whether you have ice or not, all of the ice that was building up in the door...is now on your floor. I have had this fridge for less than two months and this has happened no less than 10 times! Today was the ice breaker (no pun intended), after picking up ice off the floor and wiping floor, I called Geek Squad and set up a service call. Sadly, when I look at other sites specifically for Frigidaire ice maker problems, there are tons of them and they go back over the years. If the ice maker was working, my rating would have been higher. Perhaps I will update my review after the technician repairs my fridge.

First side by side owned. Enjoy the easy accessibility to frozen foods, ice maker manages to keep up with my family's needs. Great lighting in corners.The doors do not meet flush when closed but a service call was made and technician said doors should settle soon.

Bought this to replace a 12-year-old Frigidaire of similar style (side/side, 23.5 cu). Would have preferred to go larger but we were limited by width. Interior on both sides is well lit (5 stars). The shelving was almost the same as our old one. Clear plastic holders on fridge side makes it easier to see what's in them. (4 stars) The water/ice dispenser is now one place and you need to select whether you want water or ice. So far this has fooled me several times as I do not look to see what the last setting was. (3 stars) The water dispensing tube sits right next to the ice chute when not in use. This is okay when filling a wide-mouth container, but is beyond difficult when trying to fill a narrow-mouth bottle as you cannot put the tube in the bottle until you move the dispenser lever (which moves the ice chute aft). (2 stars) Regardless of what you are filling, when you release the dispenser lever water continues to flow momentarily. Additionally, as the ice chute moves forward toward the water port, this little bit of water has a tendency to be sprayed about. (2 stars) This has to be the noisiest unit we have ever owned. There are 4 or 5 different noises for the ice maker unit, and most of them sound like something is wrong. The accompanying documentation did mention there were various noises. However, I find them too annoying. (1 star) I would not buy this unit again.

I Love the soft way lights turn on when opening fridge. My First fridge was a lemon And had to be returned. The space in fridge is excellent for single or small family. Would get more cubic feet for larger family. Ice maker is a little louder than expected. Great buy. Water filter and air filter a plus. Energy rating can get you rebate from some local electric companies.

When the repair man told me my large 16 year old stainless steel fridge needed to be replaced I dreaded trying to find a cost effective and reliable comparable model. I was lucky to find this model on sale due to a couple small scratches and my family loves it. The space is amazing the ice maker works perfectly and we were able to ditch our separate water cooler as the filtered water on the fridge gives us delicious water. I did purchase the 5 yr extended warranty as I am told long gone are the days when appliances last 16 years. I did see in prior reviews that the fridge makes some loud noises, and until we had the water and ice hooked up there was a loud noise when the unit would call for water but it is went away as soon as the plumber hooked up the water line. We have had the fridge for about a month and a half now and so far so good.

Having little ones in the house we knew we wanted the smudgeproof finish on our refrigerator. We'd recently had to replace the stove and dishwasher...the stove being a frigidaire gallery product and the dishwasher being another brand that shows every fingerprint. So our options were a bit limited as well as our budget. This seemed like the best value for the money. It looks great in our house and we overall like it a lot. The reviews that mentioned that it was noisy were accurate, however, my previous refrigerator was just as noisy. It isn't all the time, but usually when the icemaker is up to something. I don't notice it all that much...but just something to be aware of. The only actual complaint I have is the chill drawer is extremely difficult to pull out...I usually just pull it out the first three inches, since that isn't too bad and try to snag what I need out of it. The other two drawers are okay, not stellar, but they are fine. The chill drawer is almost not worth using sometimes because it's a hassle and one time popped the glass of the shelf on top of it out because it wouldn't open without wrestling it. That drawer aside, we are pleased with it!

for the price it has excellent features. does a good job of maintaining the set temperatures.

I have had the fridge for a couple months now and it is a good fridge for the price. Pros: Lots of space. I was worried that with a smaller side by side fridge we would lose a lot of space but this had more than enough room to fit everything. Water dispenser is fast and had cold water. Easy to set up Smudge proof Cons: Is a bit loud when filling the ice maker. At first we thought something was wrong because of the noise it made but realized that was normal. Kind of annoying at first but I don't realize it anymore. Some drawers are flimsy. Feels weak when you place stuff on top or pull it out but it's very sturdy., we have tested it out.

This fridge is awesome! Way more storage space than our last one and it really keeps things cool. Very specific controls let you choose the fridge and seperate freezer temps. It's very classy looking also!

Overall, a very nice looking fridge! LED lighting is a great feature! Smudge proof stainless steel was our main reason for purchase, however, I am still constantly having to wipe the doors daily from smudges. In comparison to friends who do not have the smudge proof feature, cleaning is to a minimal. Fridge is overall a great fridge, but a little on the loud side for making ice and water. I do like the control temperature drawers for the fruits and vegetables.
