Must be careful when cleaning so as not to scratch. Is a non-textured black glass, so scratches are very visible. Good deal from Best Buy. Fast and reliable delivery.

They are not smudge proof. This cook top has HUGE silver knobs on the right side, just where you would turn your skillet handles. There is a large silver strip on the top and bottom of the cook top which traps food and is hard to clean. Every fingerprint shows up and it takes a long time to cool down.
