Not reliable, poor customer service

I had to download installation instructions and owner manual from the website. It worked great until it quit in the middle of a dinner party two weeks after installation . Absolutely horrible customer service from Frigidaire. It took two weeks to get a technician to service and when he arrived he didn't understand the wiring and left without resolving the issue. A week later the second technician arrived without reading the notes from the first technician. He left while waiting for "engineering" to tell him what to do. Two weeks later a third technician showed up early, knocked on the door, and left when no one answered without calling or attempting to contact us. When I finally got a hold of him on the phone, he had no idea what he was coming to repair and told me I had to get a new service appointment from customer service. Customer service assigned a fourth technician from a third party affiliate. When I contacted the company to ensure the appointment, the technician had no idea what I was talking about...It has been over a month without a functioning cooktop and Frigidaire seems uninterested in fixing their appliance. I plan on returning and purchasing a different model from a different company. Hopefully Best Buy makes this right.

Posted .We are incredibly sorry for the experience you've had with both your cooktop and our customer service. From receiving the product without the necessary manual to the ongoing repair delays, this is not the level of service we expect or want for our customers.
We can only imagine how frustrating it must have been—especially with the added pressure of hosting a dinner party and being without a functioning appliance for over a month. The multiple technician visits, along with the lack of coordination between them, certainly don't reflect the standard we aim for, and we deeply regret the inconvenience.

Induction cooktop

Hard to use and control. Pans sizes has to be ajustes to the size electrical burners. I would like to change this equipment.

Item arrived damaged. 2 wk wait for replacement

We opened the box and discovered that the cooktop was damaged and have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery of a new cooktop. The BB reps were helpful, but I am disappointed w/ a further delay in being able to cook.

Worst customer service ever experienced

Purchased at a HD and had delivered in two days. Recommend the product all day. Do not recommend doing business with Best Buy the company and there concerns for customer has gone down drastically.
