Purchased second one in less than a year and stopped working already. Not as reliable as I wanted. Looking for more durable product in the future.

A very good coffee maker! Easy to set up, easy to use.

We love it! It's better then our Mr. Coffee we had.

I purchased the first one (March 2012) from Best Buy, after having read good reviews. That one lasted just over two years and suddenly stopped heating up. I replaced it with an identical model, so I would have an extra glass carafe. The second one (purchased November 2014, also from Best Buy) has given out in the exact same way.

It broke down for no reason within a year. Very surprising as this is a very simple coffee machine. Should have bought a more high end brand

I was in Best Buy with a friend and was just browsing. I didn't even realize Frigidaire made a coffee pot, until I spotted this one on a shelf. My Bun had developed a bad leak and I was looking to replace it. My stove and fridge are both Frigidaire brands and this pot matched them perfectly! I love the sleek look of the coffee maker and that it doesn't have the extra hot water reservoir like a Bun. It has to be more economical. It has great features and a morning timer. I also like the built in filter, you'll save money on paper filters and save on throwing it out! A couple of issues, especially if you have just been a Bun user, is that it is slow to make...about 12 minutes to brew a pot of coffee, and the water reservoir has a small opening to pour water in. After making a mess the first few times, I switched to using a small pitcher to fill it with instead of the coffee carafe. That works out much better.

I purchased this coffee maker just a few weeks ago, and it is the best!! I like the simplicity of this unit, and the stainless steel finish won me over. Simple to use and clean. From the very first cup it has been awesome. The sleek finish of the stainless and the professional look of the unit make it eye candy for the kitchen counter. Even my husband's friends noticed it (how often does that happen?) and commented on how great it looked, not to mention the great coffee. Just want to say thank you Frigidaire Professional. One of my best purchases!

After numerous brands of coffee makers I finally found a great one! It is stylish, feels and looks well made, brews a great cup of coffee and keeps it hot. From the ease of use and maintenance right down to the pot which pours without dribbling coffee on the counter, everything was done right and the price is very low for the quality you get. I don't usually write reviews but this coffee pot deserves it!

Great coffee maker that makes a very good tasting cup of coffee. Easy to clean up too. My only complaint is the carafe leaks. It seems to leak up top where the plastic meets the glass. Apparently others have had this same problem. Will try to get Frigidaire to address this

Very pleased with the coffee, like the ease of controls and overall performance, but HATE access to the water well. It is really hard to pour the water in, even with the lid back as far as it'll go. Would be better if at least the top of the water well was larger and could hold the carafe above it and pour without needing to be so close to the lid.

Call me crazy but I believe if you want to learn to swim jump in the deep end. Well I purchased this machine on name only at Best Buy. Unpacked it at home and I did put the charcoal filter in but I also use filtered water for my coffee. I did NOT run a clean cycle. I did clean the gold filter and pot with some soap and water. I brewed the first pot and took a big gulp....I know it is going to burn a little but I wanted to test just how hot my 'joe' was. Well all I can say is AWESOME. Great temperature and great taste. Home run on this one Frigidaire!

I read reviews where this lasts 6 months and dies, well guess what? This is my second coffee maker to die with in a year. It is a shame to have to write this because we did really love the coffee maker. Brewing a regular 12 cup pot would take about 10 minutes and a strong pot a bit longer. Setting the controls, clock and timer are very easy. The maximum time for the warmer is only 120 minutes but with 4 people drinking coffee in my house it rearly lasts that long. However, making just 1 full pot a day, 7 days a week, 6 months of useage is disappointing. I will be returning it to my BB for a refund and have to buy a different brand. Again I love the great looks and the taste of the coffee it made but I can't replace it a third time. So my warning to you is if you do buy this hang on to your receipt. There is a 1 year warranty and my Best Buy did exchange the first one with no problems, hope the refund for the second is just as easy.

I purchased one of these back in 2011. Within one year the heating element for the carafe failed. This was noted in other reviews - and the fix was to just keep the timer for the carafe warmer to a shorter time period. It was still covered under the 1-year warranty so I was able to bring it to Best Buy and exchange for a new one - no problem. Fast forward two years from that and now the element that delivers water from the reservoir failed. Since it is outside the manufacturers 1-year warranty I am left with no choice but to move on to another manufacturer since the quality of the Frigidaire coffee machines seems to be less than ideal. 2 stars because I did drink a lot of coffee.

We've only had this coffee maker for a short time, but so far it's working well. I particularly like the brewing strength feature - OK, so it's either strong or regular, but that's all we need. I have two minor peeves: 1) I wish the hot plate could stay on for longer than 2 hours. As it is, we don't get through a whole pot in the 2 hours and so have to microwave mugs of coffee after it's gone cold; and 2) I wish the lid would stay open rather than self-close. It gets a bit annoying having to hold it open when filling up the reservoir. In summary, we are very pleased with this coffee machine.

We got this when our Krups coffeemaker (which we thought was great) finally gave up the ghost.. This was a great choice. It is slow on the brew cycle, but I really think that's why the coffee is so good. It drips the water in several streams over the filter basket, so all the grounds get used, not just the middle. And the controls are easy to use. By the way, I already did recommend this maker to a friend, and she got one and loves it as well. Do yourself a favor if you like good coffee and get this coffeemaker!

pros;----------------- - !! excellent !! brew.of coffee....real excellent ! (easy one of the best on quite some time) - solid build, great design with easy access water tank (+ easy pour) - all your standard features, clock, programmable, etc.... cons ----------------- - Beautiful 'BACKLIT" LED clock display (which has become an ultimate rarity these days to be included on coffee makers - most are not backlit) defaults to darkness after 20 seconds. GRRRR! does stay on during the brewing and 120 min warming process. - stainless steel fingerprint markens will drive you nuts. worth the sacrifice ??? - - absolutely ! go on frigidare!

I am a coffee lover and I have purchased several coffeemakers over time and have spent a lot of money on them. This one is very affordable and makes a great cup of coffee. The brew time is fast. It shows the water level on the side for easy filling. Not all coffeemakers has this feature. I am glad I decided to purchase this one after reading the reviews online.

This coffee maker makes GREAT tasting coffee..... however, your coffee is more expensive than Starbucks if you count the fact that the coffee maker just quits working after only 4-5 months! AND.... can't return the darn thing cause I tossed the receipt! DOH! What a dummy I am.

This coffee maker looks nice, has great features like the light up display, is super easy to program and keeps your coffee hot..... but it does NOT brew a strong pot of coffee and is SUPER Slow, I use twice as much coffee and it takes twice as long to get a weaker cup. Tried the regular mode and it was like drinking water. I use high quality flavored coffees. My last maker was from Gevalia, no great features like LED or filter built in but made a GREAT! cup. I'm returning this.

Good basic product - no problems - programs work OK.
