I cant say it was a bad product. When i got it inwas under the impression it was an induction. I was in a hurry and put electric induction intonthe bestbuy seach and this is one that came up. I saw it and bout it. It wasn't until the install that I realized! It worked well though, or better than the samsung that replaced it!!! Lesson of the day... take ur time and READ when u make a big purchase. Dont ASSume anything... that is all

Worst cook surface on the market. The heating elements surge causing the food to burn, even on a 2-3 setting. This model has settings: low, 2 - 8, and high. We have never cooked anything above a 4 or the food will be burned to a blackened crisp. We have destroyed 2 pans already. The bridge also does not work because the back burner and bridge area heat to a level “high” on a level 2-3, and will not coordinate with the front burner. I have tried over and over to use our new griddle pan to no avail. Anything on the back burner or bridge area are blackened almost immediately on low levels. This cook top is difficult to clean and to maintain. It stayed looking new for about 6 months, despite purchasing the proper cleaning agent and scouring pad that came with the cook top. It has been frustrating and time consuming to not only clean the cook top, but also all of my pans that are being burned on lower heat settings. I have contacted Best Buy where I purchased this unit as well as Frigidaire. This is not a malfunctioning unit - it is a design flaw by the manufacturer.

Better than my original cook top. Like that I can remove the knobs for cleaning. Love the bridge burners for using my large griddle or fish steamer.

It’s a little more weird to to keep clean than I thought.

LOVE this cooktop. We have a nice size family and we love to cook so having a 5th eye is Great. My wife love the option to use a griddle with the two bridge eyes
