Fringe is loads of fun to watch. This show is my new favorite series. The show has an amazing storyline that is really unique. I hope it lasts for a long time. Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson are great together and I really love the first season because Kirk Acevedo was still on the show. Probably my favorite though is John Noble as the slightly insane Walter Bishop. This is probably the best Science Fiction show on television right now, at least in my opinion.

As a huge fan of the X-files, I've consitently been turned off and disappointed in shows that have tried to dip into the paranormal and things that can't be "explained or easily referenced" ever since the Mulder & Scully left the small screen. However, J.J Abrams and his cast were able to put together a show that deals with similar mysteries into the unknown while being new, fun, and exciting at the same time. It's a phenominal show with a great cast.

This is a really fun, entertaining, engaging science fiction show. It has the episodic feel of the X-Files but those self-contained shows are rarely ever dips in the quality of the overall narrative arc. The show shines when it begins to flesh out the meta-story, but from episode to episode, this is an amazing fun and challenging show.

I would have to agree with the other person that posted a review. This is a very amazing show that makes you think which I like because it keeps you watching. It is not like any other TV series out there. I gave it a 3 star rating for the DVD Extras because I do not know what extras they will have yet. Since this is the first season of it to come out. And the preview of the upcoming season looks to be even better!

This show is very captivating. I was hooked on episode 1. I love the whole concept. The casts are perfect! I bought mine online and I wish that I hadn't. When I opened the DVD case, it was broken inside. The DVDs were fine however. It stills sucks because I collect DVD series and I like them to be in good condition. Overall, everyone should buy this series! You wont regret it :)

Fringe plays as an X-Files type spin, but the quality dialogue and writing make it a great show on its own. From the well-rounded characters to the plot twists, it will have you wanting more! I love Leonard Nimoy as William Bell! The blu-ray transfer is top notch, and I have a true 1080 Sony television that sweetens the frame rate and picture quality. Great product!

What's there to say. It's JJ Abrams at his best. The show just keeps sucking you in with each episode. I was a bit skeptical coming in as friends kept on telling me I was going to like the show. Watched the first episode on a Saturday morning and couldn't stop until I finished the whole season over the weekend. Now I can't wait to buy season 2.

Picked this up for $16.99 during a recent sale. What a bargain! The show is excellent and has great story lines that are at the edge of what's believable but they make it work. The cast meshes well together - all of them with their own strengths and weaknesses. Finding this show at such a great price made it a "no brainer" purchase.

I really enjoyed the first season of Fringe. I had missed many of the episodes and was able to catch up with these DVDs. While the shows theme can be somewhat repetative, they mix it up enough to hold my interest. I felt the second season got off-track of the main plot somewhat, but hopefully this season will pull it back.

This show is something that you have to think outside of the Box. It does not give you the answers. If you think you might know it, most likely you are wrong. I can't wait for the new season to start, but I can't wait anymore for the box set to come out.

Best sci-fi show in years. Characters are great but why else do you expect from J.J. Abrams. The show has an Alias feel to it yet the story line is unlike anything you have ever watched before. If you are into the odd and strange this is a perfect show for you. I can't wait until the second season comes to DVD.

This was a great gift buy and my boyfriend just loves it. Cool background info and story line. 7 discs with 3 episodes each! Because this is the first season you really get a lot of background info on each character and an idea about how the events leading up to the next season impact and mold the story.

I love Fringe and watch every episode. The behind the scenes features are really interesting and give good insight into how the show is filmed. Even without the sale price I was planning on buying it, but for only $10, there is no way I could pass it up! The show is amazing, but not for everybody.

I never could get into X-Files as easily as I fell into The Fringe Movement. What's so adictive is that next week's episode tightly connects to this week and last week's episodes. I own the seasons on the shelf and do not miss season 4 now playing on TV. This is SciFi at its best.

this is a great show that deserves to still be on the air. If you love scifi or suspense this is a must see show and this is the first season that kicks things into high gear and delivers the foundations for what the rest of the show will build on.

Fringe is a must see thriller on FOX. The blu-ray Season 1 is like watching the show again for the first time. The HD quality makes you realize how much you missed while watching the show on television. If you are a J.J. Abrams fan, this is a must buy!

I highly recommend this show - sure, it's a bit derivative of X-Files, but it's really starting to find its own niche in the sci-fi universe. Good cast, too - John Noble is outstanding! I'd watch the show if it was just him talking for an hour.

One of the best science fiction shows. Blu-Ray is really clear and concise. Fringe deals with a new phenomenon in each episode: creatures, viruses, inexplicable objects and incidents. Yet ties it all together episode to episode.

I so enjoyed "Fringe" on TV that I had to have the DVDs. But it's so much better on DVD, because there are no commercials, you can stop it to review something or to examine something more closely. I just love it on DVD.

Picked up this series season 1 since I heard good things about it. They were right. Surprisingly good. I am unsure why I did not watch it when it was on TV. I would recommend this to any SCi Fi fan.
