I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality reasonably priced waterproof speaker.

This is a great speaker and has good sound quality

Was very excited to get the Fugoo Sport, the reviews were really encouraging. I have to say I was immediately disappointed as soon as I turned it on the little voice in the box said that "bluetooth off". Couldn't find anything in the meager instructions that were in the box. ( IMHO they are weak instructions even for the very tech savy) When I got home I went to the Fugoo website and found an entry about this problem in the troubleshooting section.problem was with the unit thinking the wired connection was engaged and they offer a method to permanently disable the wired port or to ship it back and get a new one in 2-3 weeks. So I tapped the port a few times and bluetooth enabled and connected. I ended up disabling the port, really not what I should be doing with a brand new expensive speaker. I use the speaker mostly in the car and hate to say it, because I really wanted to love this speaker, the sound level is not as loud as my old HDX jam little speaker. So I think this one is going back today as broken and I am going to try the UE Boom 2 out.

Not as nice as the high end Bluetooth speakers but it's waterproof

Spend a lot of time looking for a wireless speaker that i can mount to my bike and i found this fugoo and bought it together with the bike mount. I'm very satisfied to have this speaker.

This is a good outdoor speaker for the money. But I returned it for a different brand (Harman/kardon - Onyx Studio 3). I just want a higher quality of sound.

For the price, I thought the Fugoo was bigger. The sound is okay but, to be honest, I also have a JBL that sounds better.

Did not meet my expectations, I thought it would be louder.

The speaker has great battery life, is small and sounds great. The bass isn't as strong but sounds better than all the other ones I've tested at Best Buy. There were bigger speakers than had better bass and louder sound but the size was too big. This speaker sound great at max volume. No crackles like the other speakers.

I have been using this speaker for providing music at work for 9 months now. It's used about 15-16 hours each week and I have had no problems at all. It connects easily to my iPhone or iPod via Bluetooth or included plug. There is definitely very nicely separated stereo sound from its 6 drivers, unlike many other speakers. This speaker also has a much longer battery charge than most. I would say it's more like 20-30 hours rather than the 40 which is advertised. If you are looking to crank up the sound outside really loudly, you may want to look for another brand, as it is claimed that the volume is not as loud as others. Also the louder the volume, the quicker it discharges the battery!

I can't believe the great reviews I constantly see for this speaker. I had a TDK A33. Great sound but poor battery. Got tired of music sessions shortening. Decided to look for speakers with good batteries. Came up with Fugoo and read many reviews. Admittedly, I originally wanted the Fugoo Tough XL. But that proved to be too big for the space where I would be using it. Settled for the Sport. Great manufacturing. Lots of nice things, like the voice. Able to change case if so declined. Other things. Figured it would be close enough to the Tough XL. Not a chance! No volume, no bass! Even when going on the internet to set their reconfiguration of the volume and turning on the speaker in the "loud" mode, i was astonished at the poor sound. Like hearing noise from an empty paint can! Exchanged, and paid more, for an UE Megaboom. Now able to hear my songs again. The Sport was so bad I gave up and turned it off. Was using my UE Mini-boom. Sounded so much better. Can't believe Fugoo suggests putting the sport on a bicycle, and actually makes a hookup for the bike. Lots of good features, but for $169 the speaker should sound good. Great to have a long lasting battery, but if you hate the sound what's the point? Fugoo, please concentrate more on the sound!

Maybe I got a previously returned damaged speaker from Best Buy that was sold as new, the Bluetooth connection when it worked for the first week, was very inconsistent. It cut in and out sitting within 10 feet of the source So I used the auxiliary port for the first time and then Bluetooth disconnected and will not come back on. Fugoo says I can "permanently disable" the aux port in order to get the Bluetooth to come back on, but why would I spend this much on a speaker that after one week I can no longer use the aux port ever again? ( to their credit-They also did say I could return it to them and they would replace it). I bought it for the long battery life and to use for a water aerobics class. The battery life is great, but speaker is not loud enough to use for the aerobics class. I downloaded the firmware update that has a "loud" mode. You have to press the O and power at the same time to activate the loud feature. Most of the time it takes turning speaker on 3 times to get the "loud" mode to activate, and half the time it is supposed to in loud mode, it is not any louder than regular mode. Even when it is in loud mode- is not loud enough for the water aerobics class to hear the music. I am very disappointed in this Fugoo Sport speaker because the Bluetooth was not reliable, it was not loud enough for what I needed it for and the Bluetooth no longer connects after using the aux port the first time.
