Great camera for beginners and teens.

My son takes his to his tourneys and captures fun times with him and his teammates. My daughter loves to use her to capture photos of our pets and of scenery. Best thing we could of purchased for them. And we couldn't of beaten the price!!

Not for Macro Use

This JX665 was expected to be an improvement but over 50% of the resulting images are blurred indicating a much slower shutter speed for the same shots. Objects must be at least 10" away from lens to have satisfactory results when taking close up shots using the Macro function.

The camera is a great starter to use and learn on.

I also thought it was a great compact camera to take on vacation. The camera was small enough like a cell phone and did not take up a lot of space like some of the other cameras.

I don't want a big camera hanging around my neck, I just put it in my pocket. Plus it does what I want it too do. Im no Ansel Adams.

The camera is very small, so a person with big hands it takes awhile to get used to. For the price it is hard to complain about it too much

shop around, better cameras out there for the $

She insisted on this camera based on the price and the money she had on hand. The resolution is horrible (my phone is better) and the menus a bit confusing. We still have it, but mostly wished we'd have shopped harder. I would definitely spend a little more or shop a little harder. This is not a great camera for the price.

The instructions were clear and easy to understand; he had no problems learning to use it on his own. The camera itself works well and takes great pictures.
