Never owned a Fuji product prior to this camera purchase. I was going to the island of Kauai and purchased this camera for primarily under water use. I found it to be easy to setup and use and and with the supplied wrist strap was safely at hand while under water, couldn't be more pleased. this camera performed as well out of water as under water. That being said, changing capture modes (close up, action etc) can take some getting used to. Overall for $200 it would be hard to beat the Fuji XP80 camera.

First, the salesperson Kathryn in Danbury was excellent. My previous water camera failed, so I reviewed options with her and chose this camera. I left for Grand Cayman a few days later. This camera is easy to use, very easy to switch from photos to videos underwater (without reading glasses), and takes very good quality photos and videos for a non-professional quality camera. As good as a previous $400 water camera.

I bought this camera to use on a snorkel trip in St. Thomas. The underwater pics were great! It was easy to use and the large display on the back made it easy to zoom in on my subjects - my kids and sea turtles. I also like that it came with a floating wrist strap. I used it outside of the water too and the shots were also great! I did not try the pic while shooting video option tho.

This camera has a good range of shooting modes, but is ultimately a point and shoot without any manual exposure control. It worked fine in daylight and especially well in a few feet of water with lots of sun. Low light was a little harder to work with since it flashed when it thought it should, which was not always when I wanted it. Most frames turned out okay. The controls became easy to work as I got to know it. The wrist strap is a very good feature as it is hard to hold onto the smooth case. I have used it kayaking and splashing around in a lake and the ocean so far.

Used on vacation, the mulitaple settings are easy to use and straight forward, pics were very sharp and transferred to smart phone easily

I bought this camera for my 7 year old granddaughter and set it up myself for mostly auto use by her. We have enjoyed using it both at Christmas and in the pool. Overall the pictures and videos are better than expected for a relatively low cost camera.

Really like this camera. Takes beautiful pictures in and out of the water. Would recommend this camera to all my family and friends.

Great camera for underwater photos and videos!!!!!

This camera is safe, functional, and the pics are beautiful.

The only CON is that is does not float very well! I lost the 1st XP-80 and bought a 2nd one. Someone found and returned the 1st camera. Put more floatys on the camera.

Purchased the Camera as it was waterproof for a trip that I was taking. Brought 2 camera with me as it was first vacation in a long time and wanted to get lots of pictures. I ended up using this camera for the majority of my pictures and they came out amazing. Great camera with a great price and extremely easy to use

This camera is perfect for anybody, especially kids, and active adults. It is completely water proof, and drop resistant. The pictures are amazing, and the camera is very easy to use. The battery life lasted all week on our vacation.

I am not a techy person. This camera was easy to get started ASAP! I have uploaded pictures. The best features are water proof, shock resistance! Takes great pics, great zoom in features. Great Camera

The camera worked well underwater. Took good pictures both at normal setting and zoom. Lightweight and easy to use and set.

This camera is reasonably priced and produced very nice shots. Being weatherproof and shock resistant provides great peace of mind in outdoor activities. There's a nice selection of shooting modes and the 5x zoom is adequate for most activities. 4 stars because I would prefer AA or rechargeable AA batteries.

This is actually the second one of these cameras I have purchased. They are very durable and easy to use. We use them for photos on construction sites and the hold up very well. Battery lasts quite a while between charges.They take great photos!

Camera was easy to use. Completely waterproof as promised. Was great for our family trip and the pictures were higher quality than we expected for a camera of this size. Wifi feature was great.

We go to Florida about 5 times a year and always take pictures while at the beach or in the water. We originally purchased a Fujifilm XP 70, several years ago, but wanted to update that. We saw where Target was selling the Fujifilm XP 70 for $110.00 as a close out because new Fujifilm XP cameras were coming. We bought the only two they had, but then went to Best Buy to see what they had. We found the Fujifilm XP 80 and purchased it too. Now everyone of my family has a camera when we are walking the beach. We love the easy of use and the picture quality of the Fujifilm XP 80 camera.

My wife and I like to snorkel and have had some luck with underwater cameras, but nothing like this. This camera did a great job and never showed signs of leaking. The picture quality was terrific. We rented a large, heavy, "better" underwater camera that cost more to rent than this camera cost, and the photos it took weren't noticeably batter. We are contemplating buying another one so we don't end up renting again.
