War Masterpiece from Kubrick
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This by far one of the greatest war films ever, and yet another masterpiece by the great Stanley Kubrick. This film consists of two parts: The Training and The Fighting. The first half of the movie we get to spend with some soldiers going through basic training and then go with them to Vietnam. This film does not turn a blind eye to the atrocities that happened during Vietnam. The film also focuses greatly on the juxtaposing of ideas: wanting "Peace", yet "Born to Kill.
