We live in an era where every album ever created is available to us instantly.... so the idea of collecting digital files on CDs is kind of ludicrous.
Analog LPs are a different matter. I'm not sure that the LP format is truly "better", but it's certainly different. The album cover is large, the format is fragile and listening to it requires an entire ritual - but it's fun. "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" is one of my wife's favorite albums, and owning it on vinyl is still neat.

I am not even sure if this album was originally available on vinyl. I am pretty sure I only had a cd. But, the vinyl sounds pretty good and I am happy to add it to my collection.

Great album. Vinyl doesn’t have hidden Possession piano track that the compact disc has. It does have a cover of Joni Mitchell’s Blue though.

This has always been one of our favorite albums. Nobody seemed to carry it in store, but Best Buy was able to ship it within a few weeks.

My favorite Sarah McLachlan album. Love the vibe of vinyl.
