Obviously if you're fan you'll enjoy this game but for those who have no clue about Ted Lasso, the gameplay is simple enough and stimulating that it plays well even without knowing the characters. The characters give a background to the action but from there it's a co-op light strategy game. Also great design for the game pieces. I'd say maybe have at least one person in the group know Ted Lasso stuff.
