I LOVE horror movies etc....this one is not quite horror or gore, but it keeps you wondering what's next! I love Michael Pitt, he's funny & smart & nice to look at too! He is quite scary in this movie! The way he delivers those chilling lines is just...awesome. It's kind of refreshing to not just have GORE GORE GORE every second like the Saw movies & Hostel etc but maybe a BIT more blood would've made it a little bit more interesting. You don't see too much violence at all. It's mostly done off screen. Such as you can HEAR someone being hurt, but you can't see it. You just can't stop watching because you're dying to know what's going to happen to this poor family next & if they will survive! The last scene is chilling & it will make you hope there's a sequel somewhere down the line! WATCH IT!

There are only certain kinds of people that will love this movie, I being one of them. My only complaint is that the depictions of violence could have been a little more vivid. Still one of the best movies though. So if you are into fun and games buy this movie, you wont regret it.

It was an ok movie. My fiance didn't like it, but I've seen worse. Overall the storyline was pretty twisted, but somethings were unimaginable. I would recommend this to a friend, but it wouldn't be a top choice of movie.

If you like movies that make you wonder what will happen next, then this movie is just for you. There is this one part that when it happens you will kind of laugh and say "What".

I bought this movie when Hollywood Video was going out of business and after watching I got what I paid for. There is a good build up of the storyline, towards the end there where certain scenes that just seemed drawn out and had me fast forwarding to when something interesting would happen again. They do a solid job of camera tricks that people used to use in the old says like having the camera turn away and being able to hear someone scream as the "bad guys" are attacking them. I would rent this movie, I certainly wouldn't buy it.
