have had regular tvs under gazebo and pool area for years but the furrion outdoor tv is much better picture wise and should be weather wise also. we can sit in pool and watch very clearly. more expensive than indoor tv but so far much better

For the price, you can't beat it when compared to Samsung's offering. Picture quality is okay, it's an LG panel but the blacks are pretty awful. I'm not using this for night time use so it's not a big deal but the blacks definitely look more green than black. My unit also has three dead pixels but again, not noticeable at all during daytime use.

Long exposure to direct sunlight on a sunny day can affect the picture after a couple hours. Overall, good value and happy with the purchase.
