    Wanted to have something durable to store in the car. Since newer cars have USB plug, I wanted a durable cable to store in the car for AZ summer heat. It is durable, but VERY short. So, it will serve it's purpose to charge, but can't grab and use while plugged in....so guess that's a good thing to encourage use of hands free and avoid tempation to text and while driving...but if one needs to quickly access maps while driving....not while charging; cable too short...I should of looked at specs and realized it was super short.
