Futureworld is a worth followup to Westworld. Even though Yul Brenner appears obviously to get a paycheck and doesnt really add anything to the story it moves along fairly well to the exciting climax. With Westworld being popular again thanks to HBO it is great to go back and see the original trips to Delos.

Interesting and enjoyable sequel to Westworld, Michael Crichton's first film. Fans will enjoy this movie & special effects are okay for the time. Another example of Crichton's warning that just because technology makes a fantasy possible is not always a good reason to proceed(think Jurassic Park).

Futureworld is a sequel to the classic robot movie Westworld. Set in the same era as Westworld, Futureworld picks up after the events of Westworld. 2 reporters are tipped off to something that is happening at Westworld, when the one reporter tries to meet the reporter he got the tip from, he finds that that reporter has been murdered. He and a female reporter head out to Futureworld to do some investigative reporting and figure out what is really happening there. They don't like what they find and before they leave find themselves being literally copied with robots made with their likenesses.

The original Westworld is great. Futureworld is not bad, but it is not great either. Characters and performances could have been better and the story and overall production has a very 70s TV-movie feel to it. The Blu-ray A/V quality is fine and there are a few bonus features, mostly publicity material. Fans of the original Westworld will appreciate a return to Delos.

Not as good as the original but it is a lot of fun. Watch the original first.

Great movie. Can watch it many times. Definitely one to add to your collection.

A really good sequel to Westworld. Has a good cast and story.
