So Far So Good

Faster than your average portable storage device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comparatively to a flash drive or a portable HDD this is way faster. About on par with a regular 2.5 in sata 3 SSD. In case you're like me and forget that something's are OS specific this doesn't work out of the box with Windows. It will work after a format, which conviently they provide software to do so directly on the G-Drive website.

Beautiful, Functional and Necessary
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After years with a G-DRIVE external drive I was ready to go for an SSD to be less worried about damage and have some faster read/write speeds. Loving this purchase! Mine is partitioned for both backups and some external storage, time to grab a 1TB for a true storage surplus! The rugged yet smooth feel to the exterior is pretty awesome, and I love the option for a USB-C to USB-C to easily communicate with my MacBook Pro.
