I've bought several.. Very reliable and would tell a family mrmber its a great drive!

The hardware is great, but the downloadable software, from the G website is of a questionable utility, I uninstalled the software, but it's OK, the software is not needed at all.

I had already purchased two of the bigger external G-Drive units before the recent smaller 500Gb Mobile G-Drive. The bigger ones are 2TB .... One is 2 years old and the other is 3 years old. The three year old gets used daily on my DVR recording movies nonstop. The 2 year old is on my computer for everyday file transfers and back ups. I never turn these units off and they never let me down. I expect the small durable mobile unit to do the same. I have been very impressed with all of G-Drives products. The file transfer speed on all their products is amazing........ You Cant Go Wrong!

Got it for my Mac Pro, simple plug and play. Creating folders is simple and exactly what I needed for photos and music.

An economical and small storage device that is also more than easy to use. I mean you just plug it in and it works.

Its pretty good and worth buying it. it worked for my mac and i recommend it to anyone.

Was not looking to buy this one, but Best Buy made a mistake in pricing. Even though I told them they didn't have to, they let me purchase for much lower price. Best Buy has really earned my business with their friendly, helpful, and courteous employees! It's hard to find stores these days that are willing to put customers first over profit even though it's their mistake.

It was not only a quick solution to a problem but a great one!

I got it for my wife to use to hold all of her pictures from her MacBook and to hold all my music on my Dell

easy set up , reprogramming for windows a sench.! and would most defiantly recommend to friends.

I purchased this for my daughters MacBook Pro. She does a lot of video recording and her hard drive was full. We plugged it in and it worked perfectly every time. Great Product. Thank you, Scott P.

Imagine saving all the files you'd like to save and have a lot of storage space for what you want to save. Realizing I can do this was my greatest joy.

I will only use the G-Drive for my 40K photographs.

needed a portable drive to move files from PC to mac. was led to believe by the advertisement that would work well with PC. it did not.

Excelent Product is perfect for everything i like a lot

I like everything about this hard drive, particularly the non-glossy finish which makes it less likely to get dropped. The cable fits securely into the drive, itself, as well as into the USB port on my new MacBook Pro. The drive also lights up during backup, so you can see it’s working. Another big plus for me is that it’s already formatted for Mac OS. When you first connect it to your Mac, you need to set up Time Machine if that’s what you’re using for backup. It’s pretty straight-forward, and the on-screen dialog box guides you along the way. This drive is a nice size, feels and looks like a quality product, and I’m very happy with this purchase.
