Good ice maker

I have to power down the unit and restart it. Other than that, this ice maker works quick and dispense enough ice in a short time. This is a great addition to the ice maker in our Freezer.

I love the round ice cubes and the ice is easy to chew. I found a medium size crisper with removable basket to put in the freezer. The ice is wet when I transfer from machine to freezer. To solve the issue of the cubes freezing together, I let the ice harden in the crisper and break it up with a new metal meat tenderizer that has a rubber handle. The metal can stay in the freezer. I can fill the crisper in one day. I also like that the machine turns off when I've gray is full of when it needs more water. I use distilled water. Best gift I've ever given myself. Hope the tips helps others. ;-)

Broke after 3 months

It says the tray is full when it isn’t. I tried turning it off and everything. No avail. I can’t even a return it at this point now.

Wrong and miss leading online description
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought galanz-26-lbs-portable-countertop-ice-maker-stainless-steel. Picked it up, the box says silver. The description I saw and paid for online was stainless steel. Clearly not stainless steel when I unpacked it at home. Seems plastic and cheap. Will update with how well it makes ice.
