Uses too much Hard disk space. Very slow conversion times as well.

Had to return as it didn't work. Contacted company and they said it doesn't record video eventhough other reviews said it did.

Just like the summary reads, if you're looking for an inexpensive capture card for your PS4, xbone, switch or any other device this one will do just fine. If you're recording for older consoles like a PS1, n64, etc make sure you check the settings before you record because this will record those in black and white. One thing with this capture card is that you don't have the option to voice record as well unless you're using a mic in-game, or you could record on a separate device and sync the audio together with Sony Vegas, final cut pro or any other editing software you use

This was a blind buy, and at first it was a little confusing to setup, but after a day of messing around i found the correct settings. So now my 2008 laptop can produce high quality gameplay videos, imagine what your new age pc could do! You can even plug in your component cables and get a 1080p HD output!!!! I am very happy with this purchase and i know, if your looking to get into the 'Game' of game recording this is a great start.
