This next installment of the Telltale Games franchise of story-telling games revolves around the blood-thristy, vengeful, intriguing world of A Song of Ice and Fire. While this overall makes for good story, considering that the characters are deep and exciting, with little intricacies that humanize them and provoke some of emotion from the player, and the general tale is very much that of George R.R. Martin glory, this installment misses out on something all the previous Telltale Games releases heavily indulged in: the ability of choice. The Game of Thrones Telltale Game gives the illusion of choice, the invisible hand that occasionally works up to something but more often is ignored for the sake of the story being told. Instead of capitalizing on the player's input along the ride, much like a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, it instead tries to sate that lust enough in order to make the player feel validated while dishing out an amazing story (please note that this review is being written before I have actually finished the game; I am going mainly off of speculation and what I have currently endured). When seen as a whole, the game loses a bit of the lustre of the past series that were released, but still holds its own as something incredible and well-worth the time of any fans that wish to taste the burning atmosphere of Ice and Fire.

If your a fan of interactive games where decisions you make affect each outcome then this game is for you. Being a fan of Beyond two souls and heavy rain, this game is up my alley. The only downside is Telltale is getting very greedy not releasing all episodes on disc but for $12 you cant beat it.

Telltale continues to hit it out of the park with their games. The story is top notch and your choices once again hold weight. The voice acting is superb as well.

Great story! Dialogue is meaningful and has many moments that has you on the edge of your seat!

Love the graphics and the game play very interesting highly recommend.

If you are a fan of the Walking Dead game by Telltale (point & click adventure genre) and the Game of Thrones series, you would like this game. The story is exciting and filled w/ intriguing characters. A good addition for any GoT fan.

I am a big fan of GoT and I do think this game managed to capture that dark and intense moment from that of the show. Its a fun side story that doesn't add too much extra to the main story.

If you like Game if Thrones, you will love this game. Its a point and click adventure game where every decision and dialogue choices you make has consequences. Very well put together.

If you are a fan of Game of Thrones and are into gaming then this is a perfect fit. Telltale does a great job of telling a store as usual. I would recommend this to any fan of the series.

This is a really fun game and really done well. However, if you are not a fan of the show, I would stay away. Being a fan of the show puts the events of the game into proper context.

This telltale series was simply outstanding. I'm not too familiar with the tv series (only seen the first season) and this game was relatively easy to play and not be confused with the plot. Graphics are typically telltale style and the gameplay is smooth. Didn't run into any problems. The story is engaging and often leaves you wondering "what if"; although I would say the choices do not have as much consequence as say "The Walking Dead" season 1 and 2 did. But still incredibly fun. If you like telltale, it's a must have. Cheers!

if you like the story on games, what's better than game of thrones story??!! it's a great interactive side story from the show. go get it you will not regret it!

This game was much more pleasant than the first game offered for the ps3. The controls were way easier this time.

I love the game graphics and it keeps me busy for many hours. I enjoy playing online with my friends.

bought it because it was on sale... liked it a lot. never watched the show... nor do i care to. this is the type of game you create your own story by your decisions/actions... so following a tv show has nothing to do with it. this is not a regular game where you walk around swinging a sword lol... do research before you buy it.

If you have played any of the telltales games (walking dead, tales from the borderlands, etc...) then you already know what to expect. A little slow at times and I wish they would update the engine, however it is a decent game nevertheless.
