The second season of Game of Thrones continues the story from season 1. Season 1 almost now feels like an introduction to the world of Westeros & Essos. The Stark & Lannister families are progressed thru the chaos that is engulfing Westeros. Daenerys Targaryen storyline is also progressing rapidly. King Joffrey becomes even more cruel & merciless. The acting is phenomenal. Everything about this show is great. It has an overall rating of 9.5 on IMDB & 98% on Rottentomatoes.com

This show is the best show on television for many reasons, but focusing on the product, I prefer BluRay over DVD because of the better quality and resolution as well as more content.

Awesome series to begin with. The bluray discs and packaging are superb. You get a nicely packaged box set with each of the main Game of Thrones characters pictured in the box set. 5 blur ray disc are included with a separate package for 2 two-sided DVD discs. What really makes the box set worth it is the Digital Copy that you CAN download to itunes or windows media AND you get the contents available on UltraViolet site where you can stream/watch it on any devices. I'm a huge digital copy fan and not only does the digital copy come with the original 10 episodes, but also 10 more extra episodes as well. Oh.. and they are ALL in HD quality. Very awesome! Just make sure you have about 19.5GB worth of free space. Overall this is a great HBO series to begin with. I don't think anyone can argue about that. But the packaging, crisp clear HD picture, True HD audio and HD digital copies makes this a collection well worth having for your home theater.

"The Game of Thrones" is literally the best television series I have ever seen! The stories are captivating and incorporate so many different elements: There's mystery and intrigue, adventure, action, and at other times it's almost like a soap opera. The acting is unparalleled and the cinematography is excellent. And even though The Game of Thrones falls under the fantasy genre, it effectively manages to suspend my disbelief because the world is so immersively detailed. I look forward to seeing all of the other seasons!

Had only gotten into game of thrones a few years ago but have spent most every winter rewatching basically every season over. I definitely recommend watching the first season but most people will be able to understand the plot starting on the second. I would recommend a tv with a good black balance to really make the show stand out.

If you haven't seen Game of Thrones... you are missing out! I highly recommend this series and if you're a fan of the Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook packaging, you have to get the entire series in this format because if you put all the seasons together on your shelf, the spines of the packaging come together to form a singular image!

For anyone who not jumped the bandwagon for the phenomenon called Game of Thones, I would highly recommend doing so. Each season is like watching 2 to 3 action movies with VFX qualities and several plots and sub-plots. However, this is strictly an adult show with plenty of violence and adult themes. Very good show overall.

Although it's great watching these episodes of the Second Season of Game of Thrones, the 4th disc in the box was bad. It had stop gaps in it. Very irritating and took a while to get thru the disc. I only just now got to that disc so it's after the return due date. The stop gaps did not happen on any other discs nor any other movie discs in my collection. So had to be that particular disc. Also, it was not my tv or the cable service, I checked. Other than that, everything else was great. I would suggest, though, that one needs to watch the discs before the return due date arrives just in case.

Epic does not come close to describing this series. It makes you feel like you are in the middle of the action. The scale of the story is enormous. Not pretty, but gritty and what you imagine life would be like at that time. With some fantasy thrown in for good measure.

with ned stark dead, joffrey becomes king, jon snow becomes king of the north, and danaryas starts to become queen of the dragons. the show continues to be awe inspiring, with complex characters, brutal violence, lots of nudity, and exotic places.

As I said in my review for Season one... for some reason I had ignored watching this show for seven years. So glad that I finally gave in to my mothers' constant pestering (which is what I do to others now) because this is one of the all-time great series.

This is my favorite edition of Game of Thrones and its a great value if you catch it on sale. It’s the Dolby atmos edition which changes the game as far as surround sound. It also comes with digital downloads in edition to the discs. Which is a steal!

I really love this watching this series. Keeps me in suspense and has lots of fighting scenes. I hate to stop watching when it gets too late for me to stay up. I recommend the whole season of "Game of Thrones" to everyone!

My friend told me to start watching this series. I bought season 1 in 4K but since I didn’t see any release dates for season 2 in 4K I decided to get this one. This series is really worth getting and watching.

The art work in the front cover is great and it came with a sleeve to protect the actual case. there was a HBO digital download code that can be transferred over to google play movies, vudu, my movies ect.

I bought this season after Ive been begged to watch and join the game of throne of madness. I got hooked after watching a couple of episodes. I cant wait to catch up all the way to the final season.

I got this as a going away gift for a coworker as he had the first season but not the second. He really appreciated it and I really appreciated that Best Buy had it on hand at a great sale price!

Game of Thrones Season Two DVD set is a great way to binge watch all the exciting episodes of season two. The set also includes some great extra features and is perfect for fans of the show.

I've never seen the game of Thrones. For years I've seen or heard of it on media - but never seen it. Well, I've now watched the first season. It started off kind of slow, but you've got to get to know the characters and set a foundation for the series. Based on all of this I'll end up getting the rest of the series on Blu-ray but now I've got to get see how it all goes....Right?

Had to get this "GoT: The Complete Second Season" to add to my collection of the other 6 seasons! Just love this show!
