While I am not the biggest fan of S8, that does not mean I am not still a huge fan of the first 7 seasons, haha. I picked this up and the quality is top-notch. The design, the feel - all of it is quality and well worth the price tag. The fact that Apple alone for the digital-only copy is $200, you get digital AND physical. Great purchase to add to the collection.

Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection is packaged in a visually stunning wooden shadow box case, featuring beautiful, multi-layered panel designs by Robert Ball (the artist behind the "Beautiful Death" series) that summarize the Game of Thrones story. Each season is represented by a different layer, showcasing iconic characters and memorable moments from the show, all clambering toward the Iron Throne. The set also contains a "Hand of the King" pin clasp, which holds all nine custom plated disc sleeves.

I had not watched GOT until I purchased this Blue Ray set. The packaging itself is a work of art. This is really an exciting series, filled with romance, a touch of comedy, political intrigue, war, defeats, and victories. I had heard that season 8 was disappointing, but I did not find it so. After viewing the series, I checked some of the comments about why season 8 was "bad" and found most of the reasons listed as petty (Oh my! There was a modern coffee cup spotted in one scene!) or just unrealistic. All 8 seasons were great. I binge-watched the whole series and, at some point, will watch it again and I was not at all disappointed.

When I ordered this set I wasn’t prepared for how special and unique the presentation is. Beautiful wood box holds the DVDs in their own slip cover, each season separately. There’s a little book with the episode names and what extra features are on the dvd. There are also three DVDs with just extras. I haven’t watched those yet but I did finish the entire series. It doesn’t matter about what you thought about the ending of the series. If you’re a GOT fan and can overlook the negative, you should have this. Watching the series for a second time was a better experience than the first.

I'm sure I have no need to tell you about how awesome the Game Of Thrones series is, but I definitely need to let you know of the praise I have for this particular special edition. The draw of this version is the stunning wooden box set that houses each disc, which form an art piece you can stare at time after time, not to mention it's extremely solid construction. You definitely don't have to worry about if you will damage it, it is very sturdy and heavy.

I have never seen the show, because I don't have HBO, and I never wanted to buy individual seasons knowing I would buy them all. I prefer to buy collectors editions. I have been waiting years for this and it does not disappoint. The art work is great and the way each season adds a layer to the overall picture is cool to look at. The outside box is constructed well and a great show piece. Over all happy with my decision purchase the collector's set.

Amazing collectable. Detail is absolutely awesome. Very well put together. This is kind of fragile though !! The outter case is wood-ish material but 1st one i ordered to pick up at the store had been dropped because the outter case was split & broken. So check the product carefully. Had to order new one & that one was excellent. One other thing, the Disk holders are beyond spectacular with details but can be a little tricky to get back into case.

It is very well made with beautiful details. It seems pretty well protected from dust which I was concerned about at a first glance. You can definitely feel the quality when holding it. And it is super easy to get the disks out so it you dont have to worry about messing it up as a decoration in your movie area. Ours had a manufacturing defect, but Best Buy let us switch it out and check the other one before we left with no problem. Its definitely a beautiful addition to our tv room!

The greatest TV series ever made, regardless of how you feel about great things having a terminus point, Game of Thrones, at its worst, was gorgeous to look at. At it's best, an unflinching, uncompromising vision of GRRM's boundless storytelling ability, even when altered, shoehorned and truncated by "well-meaning" show runners. The insanely well-appointed box set is perhaps a last, triumphant battle cry of a dying format. But what a battle cry.

It's all about the presentation. The way the sleeves combine to make a picture inside the window is nice. The leather tabs on each sleeve for each season is a nice little touch. It's a little hard to close the package with the leather strap. The cherry on top has to be the pin that you use to clamp the package shut. I got this on sale for $110 so I can't really complain.

Now listen up regardless of the last episode for the Series Finale of GoT I still highly recommend buying, getting, purchasing and collecting this Set because it’s so awesome excellent great super fantastic terrific very cool to have in Your favorites. So George R. R. Martin created an amazing extraordinary spectacular World thru Westeros also can’t wait for the Prequel Series being made plus aired on HBO!

I got this on a random deal of the day sale and my gosh it is worth every penny! If you are not a fan of the show and books I would not recommend buying it. This is for serious fans only! That being said if you're buying it for someone who is a fan of GoT they are going to love you for it!!!!! This collector set is guaranteed to bring you nothing but joy.

Ordered just thinking I was getting all the seasons on blue ray plus some bonus features. Opened my door and the delivery driver had this huge box was so confused. Opened it up and was absolutely amazed by what I had received. This collectors edition is by far the greatest packaging I’ve ever seen on a box set! Worth every dollar spent! Would definitely recommend to any GOT fan!

This is a review for the box set and not the last three episodes of the series. Heavy high quality materials are used here. It’s not a cheap box. Artwork is amazing in the individual season panels. I would have liked the last few missing retailer exclusive extras included but can’t complain with the overall package. Digital copy for the complete series is included.
