Season 8 was something

Watch it to complete the story, but also think about what could have happened if D&D weren't so eager to film Star Wars, a film they aren't even doing anymore.

The writers must have quit after season 7

I've thoroughly enjoyed GoT until now. Season 8 started well enough, and was looking good through the white walker battle, but then something went horribly wrong. It seems like all the writers suddenly quit, then they hired a bunch of recent college writing school graduates and told them to finish GoT in a hurry. It was a train wreck, especially the very last episode that had actors completely breaking character, making decisions that made no sense. The last 15 mins was a total cringe fest. It was a total letdown. There have been so many bad internet reviews, with some calling for a re-do of season 8.
