Not as great as the seasons before it but this Best Buy exclusive goes great with the other exclusives from the past.

One of the best TV shows I've seen in a really long time!!!

For Game of Thrones fans this is a great set. All seasons are good quality and the collectors boxes look great.

Was super disappointed when Season 5 was initially re-released, as it seemed like Best Buy would not be continuing their exclusive House Sigil slip cases, so I bought the standard Blu-Ray release. But once i heard that Best Buy would be re-releasing Season 5 with a house sigil, well, I just had to double dip as I had house sigils for all the prior seasons (Targaeryan, GreyJoy, Stark, and Lannister). My only complaint about this slip cover is that it does not match the Martell Sunspear sigil exactly. As far as the series itself...well, Game of Thrones is my favorite TV (albeit premium pay TV) series of all time. If my 40 something year old self could go back in time and tell my 10 year old shelf that there would be an awesome fantasy TV series on when I was an adult, I'd never believe it. But it's happened, and I love it.

Game of Thrones is always a roller coaster. Unfortunately, after the high peak that was season four, season five is one of the valleys. Some storylines drag and slow the show down (e.g. Dany meandering about Mereen, and literally everything happening in Dorne), but there's still some incredible stuff here. Iwan Rheon, Alfie Allen, and Stephen Dillane give especially amazing performances, and episode eight, Hardhome, is easily among the top episodes of the entire series. But honestly, I don't know who will benefit from this review, since there are two kinds of people in this world: those who are addicted to GoT, and those who have never seen it. If you're reading this, chances are that you already know whether or not you'll be purchasing season five.

This Best Buy exclusive packaging was worth the few extra bucks, even on sale. This edition includes the Dolby ATMOS object oriented audio which is a must have if you currently own a capable AV receiver or plan on upgrading to one in the future. If you're unsure about what this means, walk into a Magnolia Design Center and ask them about it. Don't settle for simply DTS Master HD when it comes to 'Game of Thrones'. It's worth the experience to enjoy this series in ATMOS.

The seasons get better and better and HBO delivers with another great looking set. Love the exclusive sigul packaging, too- looks awesome next to seasons 1-4. If you're a fan, this set is a no-brainer!

Game of Thrones Season 5 is chock full of the plot elements you'd expect from this series - battles, political maneuvering, and death. People often condemn this show for its use of graphic violence but it's an integral element of the story. There are some disappointments here - the Brandon Stark storyline is neglected, a previously somewhat respectable character performs a despicable deed, and a hugely popular character is killed off. My big issue with the series is how much it's departed from the story as told in the books. I don't see how the book series, if George R. R. Martin ever gets around to continuing it, is going to recover. But despite all this, I still recommend this season because it's such a darn good story with top notch production values.

Only watched the first 3 episodes of this season so far, but Season 5 seems to be an excellent continuation of the story from Season 1-4. Blu-ray picture and sound is fantastic. Options, such as story background and deleted scenes, in addition to included digital version, make this a great value for people who like the GoT HBO series.

Love game of thrones. Probably not the best season so far but it does get everything moving and plus the dragons are finally big enough to do some damage as the end of the season showed.

I have gotten each season when it comes out because it's a very high production values make the show watchable for several times over, and help you get ready for the next season. I love the digital copy aspect as well! To Dorne! (Too bad this House Martell special edition doesn't come with any Dornish wines)

If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, this set continues the fun times. What I like is that Best Buy gives you an opportunity to pick up a unique set with very cool box art. I went for the Martel sigil and I highly recommend it. It also adds a little texture to the box which makes it feel even more unique.

Top quality adventure drama series! Series 5 sees Daenerys Targaryen continue to grow in power which is not going unnoticed by those in Westeros. Elsewhere, Jon Snow faces some major changes on the wall and Aryr Stark continues on her quest for revenge. Leaves you hungry for more!

These blu ray sets are a bit cheaper than the original releases. This is a great option for those who want to own the show on blu ray and don't want to break the bank. Under the best buy slip cover is the regular priced set which means you aren't missing out on anything

Game of Thrones remains HBO's crown jewel. The blu-ray is exceptional, from presentation to bonus features. It's a shame HBO doesn't go to the same lengths for their other shows.

This is what you should be watching if you are interested of having your dreams crushed. You like a specific character, you better not get attached. GoT loves to ice people, winter is coming. Great series if a fan of medieval style themes with a minor mix of magic.

Fantastic series!! This is a must own for any collection. The house sigil covers look wonderful! Underneath the sigil covers where the DVDs are encased; are the original covers & pictures of the other DVD set. I would highly recommend this to any fan.

I couldn't wait for this release, was in there the first week it came out. I couldn't find it on the shelves so I was worried but they came back from the backroom with one in hand. The security thing left a few impressions on the "colletors edition" but who cares.

Love the series, the special features are great to get a behind the scenes look. Picture quality is great and really beats streaming it. Dolby ATMOS included.
