This is such an awesome TV Series that watching it on DVD makes it even better because there are no commercial interruptions! All the bonus material makes it even better to own.

Post-A Storm of Swords, the 3rd book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, the story begins to get bloated. It remains entertaining, but with new characters, established ones coming to the fore and others branching out, it's a wonder that Game of Thrones managed to put it all together so efficiently. It's not a perfect season, but the focus is rightly on the North and Meereen, so those storylines hit home with their respective climaxes. There were some missteps in the storytelling at times, but far more highs than lows. The execution of the final 20 minutes in episode 8 alone may never be topped. Add in the fantastic picture, sound and extras (always worth a watch on these sets), it's an easy buy if you're a fan and especially if you have the other sets. It's a 4.5 from me, but let's bump it up to a 5 (don't really have a choice anyway).

My wife and I watched the entire series a few month ago, up to the current on-air episode and we both fell in love with it. We can't get enough. No other show has captured me like this. I normally don't even watch TV at all, but this show is fantastic. It was a work night for me (I had to wake up at 4:30am) and my wife and I were watching a few episodes of Season 4, when I decided I didn't care how late I was up, I wanted to finish season 4 that night. So we did. After season 4 ended, I looked at the clock, and it was 8:45. My wife had 15 minutes to get to BestBuy and buy season 5, and that she did, sop we enjoyed the first few episodes of Season 5 as well, that very night. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and I was worthless at work, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat :)

The Best Buy exclusive covers are always an added pleasure, however even the standard cover blu-ray and dvd, plus digital copy, is a treat for the genuine Game of Thrones fan. Owning these physical copies cuts through the hassle of streaming and digital issues, such as bandwidth and download speed. This is how a great show should be viewed, on a fifty or plus size screen, in full HD. It makes a world of difference. I definitely recommend buying this to anyone with even the slightest interest. The product was as expected - not damaged, well packaged - and the transaction was a smooth, seamless, and quick process.

Left me hanging in the air. Now that I have seen the first episode of Season 6 I am not quite sure we are done with Jon Snow yet! That Septa following Cersei with the bell ringing and crying 'Shame" was a hoot. Brienne got her revenge but missed Sansa again after watching that tower window for the candle signal. Drat! Good thing the first episode of season 6 took care of this - finally. Now Brienne can claim to be the real knight that she wants to be.

Game of Thrones just keeps getting better as the plot twists keep coming and the long story continues dragging us along for a few more years as HBO has stated they may want to finish this show by Season 7 in 2017. However, the caveat is that George RR Martin's writing is not in pace with the show and being that his books average 800-1000 pages long whom will truly be writing the ending to this saga HBO or Martin?

It's Game of Thrones - of course it'll be amazing! This season was great and being able to buy it on blu-ray the day it came out was perfect. Best Buy had a good price on it for release, so it was a no brainer. Packaging and everything was great. This season was definitely good, although HBO could do better with the CGI. Overall, if you haven't watched GoT, go get the first season!

I AM SO EXCITED TO WATCH SEASON 5 OF "GAME OF THRONES" - WINNER OF 12 EMMY AWARDS. THIS SPECIAL BEST BUY PACKAGING WITH THE TARGAREYN SIGIL IS REALLY NICE. THERE ARE MANY NEW DOCUMENTARIES AND BONUS FEATURES ON THIS BLU-RAY DISC THAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING.

GOT is perhaps the best produced series on television and is another of the great productions from HBO films. This is a must have for anyone who enjoys great drama and dialogue. The battle for the Game of Thrones is reaching new heights with the growth of the White Walker army and the battle for control of the Wall

Very nice Blu Ray set but the extras seem a bit diminished. There were at least 4 different sigils on this set and I had to travel to get the last Targaryen one in a different store. Don't have any negatives about the set. Great picture quality and being able to ID the characters while watching the episodes is fun.

I had a very helpful HP Printer salesman and he was very knowledgeable about their products. I am very satisfied with my new laser jet printer. It was very easy to set up which is something I've never done without help before and I had no problem. It prints great and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Game of Thrones Season 5 definitely lives up to the hype. Blu Ray plus option to have your Digital Copy either on UltraViolet or iTunes is great as I like to keep my digital library to one program. Game of Thrones is the best show on TV and owning it on Blu Ray and Digital is worth the price.

You will love Season 5. Season 6 is about to be aired on HBO. That show is by far one of the best shows on TV these days with the inevitable The Walking Dead! Awesome show! Buy these sets: Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5! That show can be very violent and should be watched by an adult audience ONLY!

Season 5 is without a doubt the best season yet of the series, The dragons are bigger and better than previous seasons and Khaleesi is building her strong hold as a ruler not to be messed with! The last 2 episodes had me on the edge of my seat!. Looking forward to the next season !!

This is the best movie series ever created so far! This is the only one with this grafic story telling by the artist and art work is so detailed. I am in awe over this series I would strongly recommend this to anyone over 18 this action, drama, it's like lord of this rings for adults

"Game of Thrones" fifth season is very polished work. From the script, acting, direction, camera, and sound work HBO has done a work of art on this series. If you have not been watching this on HBO, you should buy the Box sets of each season, sit back, watch, and be entertained .

JUST FINISHED WATCHING "GAME OF THRONES" SEASON FIVE ON BLU-RAY. WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SEASON THAT WAS. LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING SEASON SIX ON BLU-RAY. REALLY ENJOYED ALL THE EXTRA FEATURES AND THE DOCUMENTARIES ON THE MAKING OF THIS SERIES - VERY FASCINATING.

I have been a Game of Thrones since the beginning. I believe this was one of the best seasons yet. However, the writes need to move to a conclusion. At the end it seem as if the writes were dragging out the story. However, it is still the best series on TV. Well Done!

If you are a Game of Thrones fan, this is a must have! This set is loaded with content including audio commentary, featurettes, and deleted scenes. After pouring through all the extra features, you get to sit back and enjoy the episodes in their highest resolution.

My wife and I were looking forward to this season of Game Of Thrones. So it was a blessing to find out that our local Best Buy had it in stock and held it for to pick up on my way home. It was very convenient and I was in and out in just a couple of minutes.
