Gorgeous 4K version of Game Of Thrones back when the show was good. Relive the glory days of when John actually gave his good boy ghost pet's. Remember when plot points that were in the series seemed like they would matter when the finale came. Remeber when Arya wasn't down to pound. Those were the days.

This series is awesome. The 4K release only makes it better. I’m surprised it took this long to release a 4K version. Furthermore, at the time of writing this is still the only available season in 4K :( I’ve been searching and can’t even find an expected release date for the following seasons in 4K

Epic does not come close to describing this series. It makes you feel like you are in the middle of the action. The scale of the story is enormous. Not pretty, but gritty and what you imagine life would be like at that time. With some fantasy thrown in for good measure.

Being one of the greatest shows in television history, this 4K Season 1 of GOT doesn’t disappoint. The detail in every scene is eye popping as it is displayed on my Samsung 4K TV. I’m very satisfied in this purchase. This is a definite must buy for any GOT fan!

After I binge on watching season 1 I have to continue to season 2. I enjoyed this season better than the previous one. I highly recommend this to anyone even if theyre not into it as I thought I was. you will get hooked and believe me you will.

Was not a GOT fan until I pulled my head out of the sand. What a mistake to not enjoy such a great series! Recommended viewing! Really great for the whole family. Watch out for sensual and beauty scenes if you have little ones.

Bought the first season of GOT. Tired of not being in the know, turns out it's pretty good. We had several sales associates helping us look for the DVD. Everyone was nice and constantly polite. Would highly recommend our CS store.

I stupidly ignored this show for the past seven years - and I still don't know why... I binged all seven seasons in less than a month because I was hooked from the start. Do yourself a favor and watch it! There will be no regrets.

I'm a huge fan of the Best Buy exclusive steelbooks and I like how when put together, the spines of the various seasons will come together to form a singular image. And if you haven't seen Game of Thrones, you are missing out!

One of the best seasons of any TV series, with a decent video upgrade and even better Atmos surround upgrade over the blu-ray. My copy arrived with a shattered case but Best Buy was quick to send a replacement. Thanks!

GOT has received enough praise for it's writing and acting, etc, etc. etc. Being available in 4K however brings it to a whole new level. The colors, sound, everything just enhances the viewing experience! Must own!

I've always wanted to hop on the Game of thrones hype but ive never had the need to subscribe to HBO but with the final season coming out i figured nows a better time then ever to start. This blu ray looks really nice.

HBO delivers a powerfully dark and true adaptation of George R. R. Martin's shadowy, violent realm. The show is truly entertaining and does a fantastic job telling a mythical story without straying to far into fantasy.

This copy of the 1st season of GOT is great. The picture quality is excellent. The colors are bright and black/greys are good. The only problem is there are 2 episodes per disc which makes binge watching a pain.

The quality is insane on this 4K set. Oddly the first season was shot and finished in 1080p but they got it looking incredible on 4K. Must buy for anyone who’s a fan of Thrones or wants a good HDR showcase video

My only complaint is we can’t buy the entire first 7 seasons at one time. Also the digital version you get is not in 4K. That being said the 4K version season 1 looks and sounds absolutely amazing in 4K with HDR and Dolby atmos or 7.1 surround sound. Any fans of the series will know that as the show became more popular they spent more money on special effects and large scale battle scenes etc. I can only imagine what the battle of the bast*rds, hardhome, and the beyond the wall epsiode of season 7 will look like in 4K HDR. For people who want something close, if you have a great 4K TV, download the HBO GO app and watch game of thrones episodes using the app and not on demand from your cable company. For some reason, the HBO APP is way way clearer and crisper when your 4K tv up scales the image compared to when your tv upscales the live episode or the on demand episode your cable company offers. Try It our you’ll see what I’m talking about. You won’t get HDR but you’ll have amazing 4K upscaled episodes.

Have this series in regular blu ray but recently purchased a 4k uhd blu ray player and wanted to see if there was a difference. The quality is amazing, it feels like you are actually on set filming!

I dropped off some years ago just after the second season and forgot how epic this series is. My gf and I have nearly finished the first season and about to start season 2. Outstanding!
