The second tv installment, for the popular Game of Thrones book series. This show is amazing on all levels. It has a little bit of something for everyone. A thought provoking plot, in depth and extremely unique characters, nudity, bloodshed, action, romance, etc. For those who haven't read the books, I say Good for you! You can enjoy the show that much more. For those who have read the books, well as usual the book and the screen play aren't identical. But it's okay,. All of the major key points happen, but it's the filler that has been altered. In no way does this fact take away from the show. Unless of course you're one of those people who demands perfection and accuracy. In my opinion, the only other show that rivals this is "The Walking Dead"

If you are not already watching or reading Game of Thrones, start now. The show takes you into this other earth type world of family, honor, friendship, betrayal, murder, lies, blood, (other words that I can't type here) and so much more. I have read the book, I love the tv series, and I can't wait until season three because I know it's going to be even better than season 2. The great thing about buying this series from Best Buy are their exclusive covers of the houses. Season one had House Stark and House Targaryen. Season two has House Lannister and House Greyjoy. I can't wait to see what special, exclusive, collector's covers Best Buy will have for season 3. I just know that I will be buying it.

I love this show (and the books it's based on), but the Blu-Ray sets are always particularly great. The visuals are great in this format, I love the special features (there are a TON of commentaries, and the History/Backstory animations narrated by the characters are very nicely done), and this version surprised me by coming with a regular DVD and digital copy as well. I've ordered both seasons from Best Buy because of the special covers, so I hope they keep on offering them. I look forward to seeing which House Sigils will be on the next season!

If you love the books, you'll probably love the series. They follow the book as well as can be expected and the actors, sets and general quality of the production are very high. You don't have to read the books to enjoy the series, but it helps keep to keep track of all the different groups of prople and how the are related to one another. Very enjoyable.

Got the 1st season DVD set from a friend and could not stop watching until we got through all the episodes. Season 2 is even better and did not stop until we got through all of them. Kind of strange there are 3 episodes on disc 3 and only 1 on disc 5?

Game of thrones is a great show. The storyline is great and keeps you entertained for hours. I plan on getting all seasons. The extra cover art sleeve is really cool.

You'll not disappoint in the TV series. The characters are well developed and multidimensional. The storyline is epic. This series is on another level and has set the bar very high.

The storyline, visuals and actors/actresses are great and the show exhibits realism in a contrast of how it would be in a fantasy land

Game of Thrones is a great show, and having it on bluray makes the experience 10 times better.

I would recommend this movie to everybody older enough to watch this. I didn't watch DVD Extras.

If your a fan, or if you like political drama, get this series.

I missed out on the Sark and Targaryen editions last year but did pick up the collectors set with the dragon egg. The blu rays look amazing! I'm really enjoying all the extra features. The Lannister packaging looks badass and I'm happy I get to watch Lord Tywin in HD lol. The Greyjoy set looks cool and all but you know what they say... NEVER TRUST A GREYJOY!

Continuing into its second season - based on the second novel in the series, A Clash of Kings - Game of Thrones continues to be an excellent series. Here, the show begins to deviate a bit from the source material, taking more liberties than the first season did, but still remains very loyal to George RR Martin's text. The acting is the real highlight here, with a seemingly endless roster of characters, all portrayed by outstanding actors, who really bring the material to life. HBO provides another stunning Blu-ray with Season Two. The picture quality could not be any better. This series must be watched in HD to be believed.

It's hard to call a series that's only just started its third season the greatest television series of all time, but Game of the Thrones somehow manages to stand above what is a rather large crowd of incredible dramas the likes of which we've never had before. The remarkably complex plot interweaves so many characters in different places and yet never feels like some are getting under-served. More so than any other series, the threat of death looms largely over everything creating a high level of tension as no one ever feels truly safe. As with the first season, the audio/visual presentation of the blu-ray is phenomenal.

If you are a fan of dark storytelling and fantastic acting. Go no further than Game of Thrones. Simply put this is one of the very best shows ever put to film and tv. Based on the excellent novel series by George R.R. Martin this show is guaranteed to get a reaction from you. I can only advise you to not get too attached to anyone because no one is safe. Thank you HBO for a great series on Blu....the BBY Lannister slip goes well with my Season 1 Targaryen Slip....

Only two seasons have been released on Blu-ray and this one continues to impress. Video and sound are top notch and the story and characters are fantastic. Best Buy released their exclusive packaging versions, with season 2 getting a Lannister and Greyjoy sigil. The special packaging is basically a slipcover that goes over the outer box. If you are a die hard fan and collector, I suspect you will buy both versions.

Game of Thrones Season 2 is an amazing blu-ray experience. The audio and video is top notch, one of the best on the format. There are tons and tons of features exploring various aspects of the show. The packaging is beautiful, especially the Best Buy house exclusive sigil covers. If you haven't seen the show yet, I highly recommend you start. The blu-ray are beautiful and the best buy covers are a treat to look at.

Game of Thrones is easily one of the best produced tv shows ever made. It's brilliantly well written and acted, along with the best production that a tv show can deliver. If you loved Season One then you're already hooked and will love Season Two as well. Highest recommendation.

Game of Thrones is one of the best things on TV right now, and for fantasy lovers, it just doesn't get any better. The costuming and set designs are unbelievable and can be fully appreciated in Blu-ray. Hope Best Buy keeps the house sigil exclusives coming on future releases!

Besides the great BBY exclusive slip covers, season 2 of Game of Thrones delivers on all counts! This 10 episode set is some of the best TV I have watched to date. I recommend you start with Season 1, as the episodes are not stand alone and do build on each other.
