An audience stays invested in television shows, movies, theatre productions because of a combination or permutation of: characters, plot, subplot, locations, etc. Game of Thrones has it all! Thankfully HBO learned over the years how to manage big-time budgets and resourcefully use the money to an exceptional story from the mind of George R.R. Martin. Dig it, people. There's not much else like it anywhere.

It's season 3 of Game of Thrones, I don't think I have to say too much. After the first two seasons, you either like it or you don't. Season 3 offers more plots, twists, and action along the lines of the first two seasons. The acting is overall good, but only has one or two A-listers in my opinion. Well worth picking up if you are fan of the show. The house sigils on the box art are a nice touch as well.

I loved this series since I had first read the books. I never watched the series before and saw that Best Buy had season 3 up for preorder. I normally do not buy the series because they are generally relatively expensive, but for $30 I couldn't turn this deal down! It arrived within a few days and I've been binge watching since. The special stark cover looks great and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Game of Thrones is one the best series on TV. It's story and characters are great, and it has yet to air a bad episode. What really makes it stand out is the unpredictability of the story. If you haven't read the source material it is almost impossible to guess what will happen. Being a fan of the Starks of Winterfell I opted to get it at Best Buy for the exclusive packaging as well as the price.

Easily the best show on the and a fairly accurate translation of the books. Slight embellishment of certain characters such as Robb's wife whom is a mere mention in the books. Of course this is tv so they need to give her screen time so you actually care about her. The show has great replay value as do all other seasons. This version has the custom bestbuy slipcover that collectors like.

Excellent job by the staff of staying near the original plot line of the book series. The character development and evolution over time keeps the story fresh and leaves the viewer wanting to see what will happen next. My biggest concern at this time is what will happen when the TV series catches up to the books' timeline. Hopefully Mr Martin will put out some new books in this series soon.

Game of Thrones Season 3! Need I say more? The writers have done a superb job of continuing the story line, and making extra use out of characters that fade away into obscurity in the books. I was very surprised to find out the Inside the Episode pieces, that play after the on demand showings, are missing from the blue rays. Otherwise it has everything else that the previous seasons did.

HBO has once again produced a winner. Anyone who likes Sci-Fi/Fantasy will love this series and it's a must have for any GoT fan. The cast is remarkable, the sets are breathtaking, and the CGI is spectacular. This series has it all, action/adventure, romance, humor, and alot of blood & guts (two words.........Red Wedding). Two thumbs up to George R.R. Martin & the cast & crew at HBO!!

This show has it all action, intrigue, great performances and writing that keeps you wanting more after every episode. I have never read the books but I own every season and I can watch every episode again and again and with the special features included in the blu ray you have tons to watch. Plus get both blu ray and dvd combo pack at one low price you can't really beat that.

This show continues to be the best thing to watch on cable. I'm a big fan of The Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, and others, but they all pale in comparison to this show. Even my wife, a huge Walking Dead fan, looks forward to this show more than any other. If you start from the beginning, watch all of the extras, and get invested in the characters you will not be disappointed.

I could go on about how awesome the Game of Thrones tv show is but if you haven't actually seen it for yourself mere plot descriptors are a disservice. The show is raunchy, violent, funny, trashy, classy, epic, depressing, and above all uncompromising. No program before it has had the purity of concept to screen that GOT has. Be warned... It's awesome . Unless you're a prude.

As time marches on, so too do the White Walkers. Not to be confused with the walkers in Robert Kirkman's show. Those move fast. And they get to the point already. If you like zombies and dragons, I'm sure they will get here eventually. If you like beheadings and nudity, you're in for a treat. Stay the course, its getting better as HBO pours more money into this juggernaut.

This show is definitely on my top 10 TV shows. It contains an awesome story and great acting. The cinematography in this show is just unbelievabe. The sets, the scenery, the costumes, everything looks authentic. It's like you time traveled back in time. This series is well casted with a ton of talented actors. And on top of all that, there are plenty of bonus features.

Another series set, and it gets better and better each time. You'll get a code for HD iTunes copies that you can put directly into iTunes, with each episode around a gig and a half. I'm not such a fan of the cardboard packaging, as it's just not durable. I'd much prefer a standard blue case, but that's a pretty minor gripe. It's Game of Thrones - just go buy it!

Absolutely love the Game of Thrones series. Great plot line, interesting characters and who doesn't love a movie with dragons and zombies?! We don't have HBO, but heard enough about the series, we started buying seasons 1 & 2 last year and bought season 3 the day it came out on video. This show is more like an epic movie instead of a television series. Love it!

This is my 3rd limited edition box set from Best Buy with the House Slip Cases. I was so happy they brought back the original 3 slipcases so I could make my set complete of Targaryen, Lannister, and Stark. It's a fantastic series and these sets have a TON of added bonus material for any GOTs fan to sit for hours to watch. Highly recommended!!

If you are a fan of Game of Thrones this is a must have to own on Blu-Ray the picture quality is top notch and as always HBO provides plenty of extra features. The Best Buy exclusive packaging is also a great bonus, so if you are able to get it before it sells it i would highly suggest it. Great price for a great show, Highly recommended.

Another beautiful dvd case for the third season and if you're lucky enough you can get one of three limited edition sleeves. This season shows Daenerys gathering her army as her dragons grow bigger and stronger, and shows the continuing power plays in the seven kingdoms of westeros. Watch season 3 in time for season 4 coming out in april.

Season 3 continues to impress and build on the excellent quality of the first two seasons. The show is great, pretty much everyone already knows this. The Best Buy options of picking one of three Houses in the series was a cool bonus without adding anything to the cost. The production values are amazing for television, even a HBO show.

I have not read the books yet so I have no complaints about the show even though I know there are differences. That happens with every book series when it goes to the big or small screen. I do love the attention to detail needed to translate this to television and achieve the suspension of disbelief. Thank you HBO for doing this.
