Lots of fun for family & friend game night

We rented this game one night and my wife (and I) spent 6 hours playing it. So I purchased the game. Our family came over for Christmas Eve and we spent 7 hours playing just GP2. A couple nights later I had a few friends over and they are big time gamers (PS3 & Xbox 360) and loved it. We played Trivia & Darts for a couple of hours as well as the skill ball, hoop and lawn darts.
My wife & daughter love changing their characters clothing. Mine hasn't changed since I created it. But the girls have changed the outfits more than I care to recall. I guess it is just like real life?
Note: you have to create a player and earn tickets, which is very easy and then purchase new clothing, hairstyles, and loads of other accessories.
Another cool features include new character pop ups durning the holidays.
For Example: Santa Clause is playable for the Christmas Season, Pumpkin Man for October and you'll have to play it for the other holidays to see who pops up.
The game has high score records which is great for showing off who's the best at what. We have a highly competitive family so it's nice to brag when you're on top!
We've played the GP1 and it is fun, but GP2 has far better graphics, features and worth the extra $10.00
Simply put, you just get more!
I gave it 5 Stars for Graphics not because it rivals game graphics like Madden or PGA, but because as far as arcade type of games and the rated E for everyone it is really good.
I gave it 4 Stars for Kid Friendly only because most of these games are games you either play in the back yard or inside with Teens or adults. My 8 year old likes a couple of the games but my 16 year old loves playing all the games with the rest of the family.

I bought this game because it had a variety of games in one. The games are fun, but I had to return the game three times to get one where all of the games worked. Its a great game, but be beware of faulty product.

We just got a Wii for Christmas and were looking for fun compilation games like Wii Play and Wii Sports. I came across Game Party 1 and thought it would be cool for just $20. My husband found Game Party 2. We were going to get both until I noticed that 90% of the games are the same, so we opted for GP2. Bummed because I really wanted to play table hockey, but wasn't paying for GP1 just for that.
The games on this disc are pretty fun, but the controls can get frustrating, but I'm having that issue with all games in getting used to the Wii. Though we did find ourselves reading the instruction manual for some of the games. Skill Ball is a lot of fun, as well as Hoops and Beer Pong rocks, it will come in handy New Years Eve! I think it's fun and so far is worth the $30. Just takes some practice with the controls, still haven't figured out how to aim in darts.

It is what it is. When you have a lot of people over who want to play -this game is a good choice. The games are pretty short so you can quickly go from one to the next. We wager drinks on who can shoot the most hoops ,get the highest score in darts, etc. It even has a beer pong game so you can play without all the mess of splashing beer- you should buy it just for that.

Interface in game is very easy to navigate and you dont have to beat anything to play the other games. Not much to say about this game, it is what it is. It gets boring quick. PLaying with a friend of mine this is kind of how the game play goes... I throw a dart you throw a dart both miss taget, i throw a dart and miss he throws a dart and misses(first to 15 wins), this can go on and on until your like screw it next game. Then you go to next game, play that and the same thing until youve played all the games in about 30 mins. Bottom line is there is abosultely no substance to this game that would make me wanna play it again.

My family got the Wii for Christmas and the first version of this game... we played all night long. The only draw back to this game is that it has many of the same games from the first version, probably half of them are the same, I do have to say that they do have more options for play, but are the same.
My family absolutely loves this game... and play all the time with friends and family. Highly Recommended.

We bought this game last week. Mainly for the horseshoes. There is no control over the movements. You just have to flick you wrist. Very boring.
