The Game and Watch series represent some of Nintendo's earliest forays into electronic gaming and were widely popular. Those original systems are prized collectibles for for Nintendo fans but can be both pricey and hard to come by in good condition. This modernized version of that classic Nintendo product is great for fans and collector's who are interested in Nintendo's history but don't want to try hunting down an original Game and Watch.

My daughter and son both grew up in the 80's and loved Mario so when I saw this at Best Buy I just had to get her one for her recent birthday. She was absolutely thrilled. Brought back so many wonderful memories of her childhood. She says she's had a ball playing, that is when she can get it from her boys, as they too are now growing up with Mario. I definitely recommend. I only wished I had bought an extra one or two for other family members

Mario, only now in your pocket. Again! Seriously though, this is a cool and well constructed throw-back device. I'm not sure who would be interested in this outside of collectors, but be sure that you can gift this to anyone from about 5 yrs old (yes, it feels like it'll take as good a beating as any Nintendo system) to 105 yrs old and they'll be sure to have a blast. Plus, its a limited release item, so get it while its here.

Beautiful little piece of nostalgia. Full color Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 2 (aka The Lost Levels). And some juggling minigame that's not going to hold anyone's attention for very long. All games run perfectly. I would honestly knock off a half a point for this little machine not having a kickstand, but I understand why there isn't. I'd use it a desk clock if it had a kickstand. Good luck in searching for this.

The Super Mario Bros Game & Watch is pretty bare bones. It contains a clock with limited interaction, the full Super Mario Bros. for NES, and the full Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels for NES. With the release of The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch, which has three full games along with an interactive clock and interactive countdown timer, it makes you realize how Nintendo could have done more with the Super Mario Bros. model. If you are a collector or have a great love for Super Mario Bros., it is worth picking up, but you may be putting it down after a few minutes once the nostalgia wears off.
