This is a very cool item. The storied history of the Game & Watch series continues into the present with Super Mario Bros. You already know the game, and, yes, you can easily get it cheaper, but not as a piece of Nintendo history. The clock itself is also quite fun!

Fun little reboot! I love the Mario Games and the battery lasts awhile. Controls are tiny but good enough to play in my opinion. Great to have bedside or to take with you. Just wish it came with a case. I use an old sunglasses satchel for mine.

Nintendo fans young and old will appreciate this cool little novelty. The LCD screen is excellent, with rich colors and a smooth, almost OLED quality to it. Super Mario 1 and Super Mario 2 play nicely, and the watch component is really fun with nice surprises. A cool item for Nintendo fans.

Nintendo knows how to weaponize nostalgia and this little game & watch is aimed right at those of us who grew up with Super Mario Bros. on the NES. The device itself is well constructed of plastic and aluminum to mimic the original Famicom colors. The screen is bright and the games are easy to see. The d-pad is a classic NES d-pad but the buttons are a squishy rubber. If you’re using it for a quick Mario fix it’s probably fine, but I wouldn’t consider this comfortable for longer gaming sessions. If you grew up with these games it’s a great little piece of nostalgia. That being said the Mario games have been made available numerous times overs the years in different collections and the other game included here is Ball...so yeah, if you’ve had enough of Mario and aren’t excited over Ball, this may not be for you. This is aimed at collectors and Nintendo fans. Either of those will probably be very happy with the Game & Watch. It’s a unique little collectors item to celebrate 35 years of Mario.

Playing Super Mario Bros and the original SMB2 (known to most as "The Lost Levels" on the go is pretty nice, the controls work well, even if the buttons are a touch on the mushy side. The clock is very entertaining to watch, especially as other Mushroom Kingdom residents appear at various points during the day. There are cute little touches hidden throughout the experience that I won't spoil here. The three games are what you'd expect and faithfully represented, glitches and all...I was able to enter level -1 in SMB as expected. I enjoy that each of the three games and clock all have their own independent volume/brightness settings and the games will save your progress so you can pick up and play whenever you like. As nice as it is as a GAME player, it really misses the mark as an actual WATCH...After 3 minutes (unless it's plugged in), the device will go into rest mode and shut off the screen until the Power button (and ONLY the Power button) is pressed. I understand that a backlit LCD will drain battery, but it really would be nice to just glance at it as a timepiece. In addition, the Game and Watch does not contain an alarm function, making the "Watch" feature a novelty at best, but not really much else. It's a shame, because this would have been a charming to have while travelling, but as a timepiece, it isn't very useful.

The Mario 35th Anniversary Game & Watch is effectively a compact yet bountiful homage to the original Game & Watch system. The device is a lot smaller than the photos suggest, yet it does not hinder the enjoyment of the device. The LED screen looks very nice, the speaker plays loudly and accurately, and the controls feel very clean. This device has many hidden features and Easter eggs too. As a hint: If you hold the ‘A’ button down for 5 seconds when starting a play session on the original Super Mario game, you will obtain infinite lives. These kinds of details are what draws Nintendo fans like me to relish in their rich history throughout gaming. For any fan looking to add to their collection, here is your gateway drug. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great little piece of retro gaming tech! The device itself is small, light and yet very functional. The screen is vivid and bright. Super Mario Bros is one of the most important games ever made and still a timeless classic. My only issue is that there isn't much to come back to after playing SMB and the insanely difficult true version of Super Mario Bros 2. If they had put a few more games on there it would have greatly improved the lasting value.

I love this thing! The screen quality is fantastic - way better than what it looked like in the videos from Nintendo. Playing Super Mario Bros is a blast as always. The clock mode is neat and fun to play with too. Good build quality. Battery life is excellent.

Fun little clock that can also play games. I have this hooked up to my switch dock so that the screen can stay turned on 24/7. Acts as a clock in my TV media cabinet. Next to my mariokart live kart haha.

Great to carry and play casually as a throwback to Nintendo's Game and Watch handhelds. I love that it doubles as a clock, and you can keep it plugged in via USB to keep the screen on 24/7 so you can use it as a desk clock if you wanted to.

Brings back a sense of nostalgia when playing. Nice sized hand-held game system that's easily portable when you're on the go. There are a total of 4 different games to play so you can be entertained for hours.

So cute and so fun. We've all played Super Mario Bros. on every conceivable platform. But is so cool to have light and easily carryable! And its built impeccably! Only wish there was an option for the clock to stay on and maybe dim all the time.

A modern rendition of Nintendo's early portable game systems that paved the way for everything (Nintendo) we love today. Tiny, lightweight with a bright screen, absolutely beautiful! This is one of those things you just have to purchase.

This is an awesome little novelty, but it’s really lacking in features and games. Nintendo could have easily loaded the entire Super Mario Bros. NES games library on here and they didn’t even do that. You only get three games, two of which are essentially the same. And a Game and Watch game that’s incredibly boring. Overall, nice novelty with solid build quality, but for $50 it ain’t worth it.

A great little memorabilia piece that any Nintendo lover would enjoy. Don't let its small size fool you, it has amazing build quality and packs a beautiful screen. It's very thin too, easy to put in a coat pocket for example.

I love this device, battery life is excellent, sound is great better then the switch. I love how if you hold the A button at the Mario title screen you unlock the unlimited lives feature. Right now I have it plugged into the USB port on the side of the TV using it like a clock. Keeping it plugged in makes the screen not time out. My only gripe is the price should of been $20 less

A great piece of nostalgia for anyone who had a Game And Watch before the Gameboy! Love the fact that it comes with 3 notable games in Nintendo’s history and there are surprises in store for anyone who uses it. Well worth the $50.

Is smaller and lighter than I expected. Is pretty convenient if you're just needing to play a classic game on the go. Includes a clock. After March 2021, it stops shipping to stores so get it now while you still can.
