Gamera is a popular monster in Japan like Godzilla. He flies and spits fireballs. This trilogy came out in the late 90's there and then was brought over here by adv films. That company went bankrupt and then these movies became hard to find. But now there back and they are pretty cool. Good special effects and action. The trilogy is packaged in one box for 9.99. At 3 dollars per movie that's a good price.

Gamera is like the off-brand version of Godzilla. Despite that, TOHO, the company that owns the rights to Godzilla, bought the rights to Gamera and came out with this trilogy. I found these Gamera movies to be MUCH better than the original Gamera movie series. If you are a fan of the Godzilla movies, from the 1990's and 2000's, I think you owe it to yourself to check this trilogy out too.

The Gamera Trilogy is great. The director of those movies is the same guy who directed Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack. Guardian of the Universe is great. Attack of Legion is good. Revenge of Iris is the best and most epic out of the trilogy. Gamera's design in Revenge of Iris is awesome.
