Great portrayal of Ghandi, an inspiring film that stays true to the real life events it portrays.

A great and very well acted historical drama. Kingsley does a great job as Ghandi and it stays fairly true to the history. The 2 Disc blu-ray has lots of supplements to check out and overall it has nice video and audio, although not eye-popping or earth shaking. Then again, the movie doesn't need that!

Ben Kingsley is fabulous as Mahatma Gandhi, the pacifist leader of the Indian freedom movement that was instrumental in getting India's Independence from Britain. This is a true story and a story worthy to be told. The whole cast is amazing and will really make you appreciate the real characters.

This docudrama based on the life of one of India's most notable leaders and activists is nothing short of amazing. You'll be entertained by the wonderful cinematography and taught valuable lessons through Sir Ben Kingsley's energetic portrayal of Mohandas Gandhi.

Ben Kingsley does a spectacular job as Gandhi, Attenborough as Director and a cast of thousands. Once viewed, you'll see why it won so many Academy Awards. A truly magnificent film.

Had never seen Gandhi til now, looked great on blu-ray. Mandatory viewing in your lifetime so you can understand the man better.

This is a true story about an extraordinary man and his life's journey to seek out peace and justice for his people and his country. The acting is amazing!!! The movie takes place in India, which is absolutely beautiful. This movie is good for the entire family, lessons and discussions after the movie comes spilling out. This was a true man of God, for all religions, A MUST SEE MOVIE!!!!

Gandhi is a historical movie about a saint like man who thrived for liberation of his nation through peaceful means. I don't think that there is anyone who is not aware of "Gandhi" This movie is worth the time and money. Watch it.

Based on the adult life of Gandhi. Ben Kingsley's portrayal of Gandhi was spot on! Richard Attenborough's direction of this great movie was top notch. The scope of the film was awesome!

A great movie that I wish I had seen on the big screen. Kingsley is amazing. The extras are wonderful, particularly Attenborough's commentary. 30 years later, this movie still holds up.

A must-see for everyone. Richard Attenborough has captured the fierce determination of Gandhi in showing the world a new way of non-violence. Ok on DVD but better on Blu-Ray.
