3D is not watchable and story is juvenile.

I like anything 3D and am a big fan of Garfield in the newspapers but the 3D even using the furnished glasses was blurry and would not focus enough to be in 3D to the point of being unwatchable and the story was dumb and not funny.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
