I installed this item made sure the wind shield was clean and stuck it up there. Well sadly to say it keeps falling off not from the windshield side of the adhesive but the other side where they prestick it and send it to you. Its a really big pain in the butt! What Can I say postive about this? The app isnt to bad, but the camera its self I feel underpreforms the competitors out there. You do have the nice voice command option for recording and taking a video. The thing I like the most is you can actually have this a little organized as back windshield or front windshield in the app.

Absolutely in love with this dash cam it’s saved me already countless times and is quick and simple to use. In addition easily able to hide the wire in most vehicles with the extended cable length

I bought a front and rear window surveillance camera to watch my things while traveling on the road. I use a back up battery to power them when away from the vehicle for extended periods and overnight if not sleeping in the vehicles clamshell tent above.

I am using this Garmin with their OBD Power Supply and it works perfectly, sending me notifications and video clips automatically. I appreciate the stable mount that holds position thru my rearview hatch slamming close.

I was unable to complete pairing to my iPhone (and a second iPhone after no luck with the first) after 45 min of wasted time trying. There are two pairing steps: the first one was no problem, and was never able to get past the second step. I suspect the app has significant issues with newer versions of iOS. Regardless, this is going back to BestBuy. I don’t recommend getting this cam if you use an iPhone - or wait until Gatlin improves its app.

OMG this small Dashcam is amazing. Set up is easy and once you figure out where you are going to install it, it works perfectly. I have it up to work in both of my vehicles thanks to the extra mount that it came with. It already captured some interesting driving habits of other drivers around me. Worth the price and I highly recommend it!!!

This is the best dashcam for you if you love bluetooth connectivity issues and annoying non-stop beeps. If you're in the market for a cam that keeps rebooting and prompting you to keep formatting your memory card, look no further. On the plus side, the picture quality on the pix I took was nice thru the glare reduction lense that's sold separately, although I couldn't enjoy them with the connectivity issues. Needless to say that I returned it.

Solid little dash cam for the money, I have one in my truck and one in my wife's car. Easy to set up, easy to use app, and pretty good clarity/quality video/photos.

Easy installation in a 2024 Mazda CX-50. Excellent video and picture resolution for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Good video quality but that's where the accolades end. Turns off sporadically and it's very difficult to review video. Camera must be actively connected to phone.

Does the job for the price point. Its fallen off the mount a couple times. But been okay lately. Its basically a camera for if someone pulls out in front of you or runs a red light.

I've owned several dash cams and this has great picture quality, a nice compact size, and is reliable (to a certain degree. Now the annoying...while trying to review footage from your smart phone, the connection is spotty and takes forever to connect. TIP* BE PATIENT when setting up the camera and BE PATIENT TRYING TO CONNECT. IT will happen, it just takes a lot of "resetting" to the home screen and repeating to get it to work! Overall, if I really need the footage, I can connect it to my PC where there is no lag or missing content.

Great video...when it's working. Very small/discreet so it's easier to hide/blend in. It requires you to re-format the micro SD card at minimum every 6 months or else it gets very glitchy. I didn't know about this so when I tried to review video after a minor rear-ending. The camera never started recording when the car was started so no video even though it's supposed to have automatic loop recording. I had purchased 4 of these cameras for 2 vehicles and immediately reformatted all of them. Main big gripe is the app. Sometimes connects right away, sometimes not. Seems to connect better on my old Android 11 than Apple iOS 17 or Android 13 so I use my old Android when updating the firmware or viewing/saving videos from the camera. Overall, great cameras, but Garmin really needs to fix the app.

My appeal to the Mini 2 was it's compact size and ease of use. It is only 1080p which is kinda disappointing, it will not clearly read license plates until you're almost right next to other cars. My biggest woe is the LED on the bottom that faces you, the light is bright and it is constantly on, there is no way to turn it off or dim it so at night you have a distractingly bright LED in your face unless you cover it up with tape or something. The microphone for voice input is also right next to the LED, so with the LED being close to the edge and the microphone right next to it it can be a little tricky covering it up. Connectivity is average, any camera that uses a WiFi/Bluetooth connection to your phone will have to compete with your cars Android Auto or Apple Car Play. Bit of an unavoidable issue. Anyway, I appreciate the cameras easy voice commands and small footprint but it's the little things like the bright LED and limited 1080p recording that have me returning it.

I commute a ton for my work so I got this for peace of mind. It was easy to set up, works reliably and isn't massive. I'd recommend it!
