I'm still getting used to it but like the small size so it doesn't block the driver view. I'm not tech savvy to figure out all the features on my phone but I'm pleased with it.

The "mini" series dash cams are great camersa for concealment but as MANY others have complained, not so good with the application (bluetooth connection). GARMIN needs to create a CarPlay compatible application with easier connection features. Although we know that fumbling with the phone app is a no-no we do it anyway...thats why we NEED a CarPlay application! Give us a new application that works!!! DRIVE stinks...

Good, simple and easy to use. 3 stars because the 12 volt adapter mine came with was no good and I had to use a different one.

Bought the Garmin dash cam for a great price. Dash cam is small enough to not be a distraction while driving.

Don’t waste your money. I bought this to capture a 3,000 plus mile road trip in New Zealand. It had to reconnect each time and it would kick me out of Apple Car Play for directions. I tried connecting to WiFi at AirBNB’s or hotels to save videos, but the device kept disconnecting. After multiple days of wasting more than an hour trying to edit a clip that kept kicking me out, I gave up. I planned to download and edit when I got home. Even at home on my wifi, I had reconnecting multiple times. I was able to export 3 videos clips I edited before it said my 256 micro SD card needed to be formatting. After using it the last 2.5 weeks. Formatting it would means it would delete anything on my card. I’m know trying to figure out if there’s a way to retrieve it. I tried calling Garmin but they weren’t able to help. He said it required a class 10 SD card, which mine was. Because it was within 30 days, he said I could return it, but only if it’s bought directly through Garmin, not Best Buy. I bought the “vault” subscription as a fallback, but it only works for saved videos unlike the cloud. Due to connectivity issues, the videos weren’t saved. It was a waste of money but the frustrating part is the lost memories. The whole reason I bought this item was to capture my roadtrip, which it did not. Don’t bother with a Garmin. Not user friendly and a waste of money.

Super easy to setup and is very small and barely noticeable on the dash

Decent camera but can’t see license plates with it. I ended up using it as a standalone rear camera and it’s decent.

It’s very easy to install. The app works great all the time I highly recommend this dash cam gives me a piece of mind, knowing that everything been recorded while my car is in motion.

Absolute garbage DO NOT BUY. I have the garmin 2 in my car and it works great purchased the garmin 3 for my wife’s new car and had to return it after 2 days of trying to get it to work properly and reaching out to customer support multiple times would not record must of the times unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in just a big headache.

Easy to install, works with the APP. And is discrete in your car , people will not notice that you have a Camera.

With this dash cam being as small as it is, it fits perfectly behind my rear view mirror. It’s the perfect discreet placement for it…

1) Video quality: Worse than fitcamx. 2) Connectivity: Bluetooth & WiFi wireless transfer of video on phone takes forever. You feel like you are back in 90’s. 3) Price : Not worth paying the price. 4) Installation: Easy and small in size.

Nice picture. Do not leave plugged in when the vehicle is off. It sucked a brand new battery dry and cost us $300 to replace.

This camera is a great dash camera. It is very discrete and you quickly forget it is even in your vehicle. For me, this is the biggest benifit of this camera. Also the Garmin app is very easy to use and accessing your footage is done quickly.
