I have been using this collar for a couple months now and I can easily say that this is a great product that delivers everything that it promises. I have a 10 mo old boxer who was having difficulty staying focused during training and wasn’t responding as expected to treats. I saw immediate positive movements in training at low levels and especially with the tone setting. The tone and momentary stimulus really allows me to communicate with him. The range is great, especially since I am only giving him about 50 yards of freedom before having him return. The display is easy to read and understand as are the instructions for proper use. The collar that comes with the setup is durable and plenty long enough for any dog. The included cables and charger make charging a breeze and the battery lasts several days before needing to be hooked up overnight. The collar also makes it abundantly clear when it is at low power. Great product for the money.

We have purchased 5-6 of these types of collars each time it only lasts 6 months to a year. This one feels much more sturdy and will last a while. The collar is also much more comfortable for my pup.

The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is due to its expense. $180 for a collar is definitely pricey but this device saved my dog and I's friendship. Huskies are a head strong breed who see themselves as equals or above you and it is so frustrating to constantly feel like a prisoner in your own home. After the first "correction" (shock) she quickly understood who was in charge and now simply using the beep function straightens her up immediately. You will initially feel as though you are mistreating your animal but she has probably only needed correction like 5 times since buying this device. Eventually you will only need to use tone correction.

I purchased this to have more control over my Rotteriler (6yrs old) when he is out of voice range. I followed the videos on youtube provided by Garmin and they where a great help. It only took a few days of solid training for my dog to understand what I was telling him with the collar. As of today I can send commands to my dog without using the stimulation, I only use the tone.
Highly recommend this to anyone who needs to gain more control over there dog. It will work on any dog as long as you are willing to put for the valuable time it takes to train the dog to the collar.

Works but at the same time its a pain in the neck to pair constantly. Why pair it?? It should be automatic. The different modes are hard to manage and stuff.

Great training collar , didn't work on our 1yr old lab/border collie since she has fear issues , it only scared her more , otherwise the vibration and the beep method did OK with her but the shock part completely scared her to the point that she wouldn't let us put it back on her , but we had it turned up on a modest shock so even that may have been too much , but the collar itself is great , just not for our pup, ended up giving it to my son for his German Shepherd mix that has wore one before , working great he said !

We use this for training and virtual leash to let our dog roam the fields but retain control. The three different modes works well. It has taken a bit of getting use to from the old Tri-Tronics device, but I like the rechargeable battery in the handset too.

I recently bought this collar. It's works really well the collar battery last up to almost 3 days straight. The remote that comes with it last more than a week. It does do a vibrate tone and "shock" feeling to my dog. I have a German shepherd and she learned real quick. The range is great as well.

I had a cabelas 1000 yard field trailer and Loved it, paid $360 8 years ago or so. I'd say so far this dog training system is just as good. But we'll see how long it lasts. I bought Dec. 2016 & will post when it stops working.

Didn't take long to set up and charge- the collar/remote actually charge within an hour- only complaint is that the voltage is very strong so for two 90 pound German shepherds I only need to set the number at 4/5.

My favorite feature of the collar is that you can utilize a tone, a vibration and a shock. Most often, we can get her attention with just a beep or quick vibration. The battery lasts longer than most collars. I am glad I spent the extra money on a name brand quality collar!

The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the complicatedness of operating all the different modes. Directions were not easy to understand either.

This tool is really easy to learn how to use. My dog quickly learned various command calls. It's really important to stick with it for some time so that the dog learns the commands permanently. It's also great that there are training videos available.

Collar has 3 options but have found that just using the tone is all that’s needed to get dog’s attention and distract him from barking.

My suggestion is work with a dog trainer as these gadgets, if not properly used, can mess your dogs mind up.....
