Clear directions in print or verbally that are easier to understand over other units I have used. Disappointed that battery loses charge after several days sitting idle as it has me digging for the charge cable way to often! MAKE SURE YOU ADJUST THE LOW BATTERY ALERT TO FIT YOUR USEAGE STYLE!

The full screen live cameras do not display. It cannot find traffic cameras on my route that is programmed in. Voice commands produce strange results. The smartphone app keeps disconnecting, the app says disconnected, but the Garmin still thinks it is connected. Will be driving a truck soon, hope those features work correctly. If these issues can be fixed, the review would be better. The traffic camera problem really annoys me because I had to pay extra for it. The live traffic is better than HD, but nowhere near as good as the Waze app.

If your dēzl is not providing you with accurate routes, you may want to check for software and map updates. The Garmin Express application will update the maps and / or software on Garmin devices. To download Express please click on the following link http://software.garmin.com/express.html
The Garmin Safety Camera alerts have a feature in which they will only warn you if you are traveling within 10% below the speed limit or any range above the speed limit. If you are driving in the speed limit range and you have the latest safety camera update on the device but you are still not alerted to every camera, you can report the location of the camera on our website to be investigated. These cameras are not used by law enforcement and are only used for controlling traffic. These are often confused for red light cameras and will not provide an alert.

The ability to transfer all your info and saved places into another device is priceless. This Dezl version is great for several reasons. If you use moving trucks like I do, you can create a profile vehicle for each different one you may use, the gps will then calculate which roads that vehicle is allowed to travel on! Bridge heights, Expressway vs Parkway, etc. Works with any size vehicle, most of the time I use it in my car and select the car icon. Bluetooth app is handy too because when you link it with your phone, the GPS can get real time traffic and weather delays and updates your ETA accordingly. Pro truckers already know this is a great device.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product is a good size, is very sturdy and stays mounted to the windshield. Needs re engineered as far as functionality goes. Needs to ALWAYS show the next 2 turns not just on occasion when it deems as needed. The mapping service provider Garmin has a relationship with needs to step up their game. Lot's of routing mistakes so you better check each routing step prior to driving. The Hazmat choices don't differentiate between class 3 flammable and class 3 combustible which matters greatly due to most tunnels allow class 3 combustibles. Before this gps, I had a (the one that rhymes with "band finale") which has the best and superior operating system but the worst physical product for it wouldn't stay mounted to the windshield and it was too fragile.
