I love this GPS. The bluetooth capability is great for hands-free phone calls and text messages.

I have had Garmin GPS in all of my cars since they first came out with the Garmin 350 model in the 90's , and this one is the best so far.

I have had a least 10 different GPS systems - either stand alone or installed in various cars, and this is the best that Garmin has ever produced. It's voice recognition is superb (except house numbers) and it finds all kinds of stores and businesses quickly and accurately. One of the best features when on longer trips is the ability to find something (like a rest area) along the route. The visual presentation of the map and route is very good although I wish Garmin would give me the option of not displaying the route that I've already accomplished.

Love this Garman because it has Bluetooth, it is large and I love the GPS and how it tells you what speed you should go and turns red when you’re going to fast.

Definitely one of the best GPS devices in the market today. Easy to use and easy navigation. I don't ever leave home with out it

We like this gps very much. Easy to read screen.address entry is improved. Live camera notifications are not the same as our old model.

Purchased this as a replacement for older Garmin (2589LMT) I stick with Garmin. Find them dependable and well made. The DriveSmart with Traffic is great!

Trip from Jacksonville to Miami with no issues. I was saved several times by its beeping noise once you go 1 mph over the speed limit. Miami has a lot of red light Cameras, the Garmin was able to detect the ones that was actually "live". I was able to set the preference to avoid tolls and Expressway lanes; the sharp bells and dings made sure I did not go near those avoidance. The built in command also tell you what lane to get in "get in any 2 lanes on the left".

Easy to use and I like the app which allows you to enter the address instead of reaching for your GPS and typing it in.

I like the features of the Garmin DriveSmart 55 particularly its 720p resolution which is double the usual resolution of other portable GPS. This makes letters and number displays easier to read on its edge to edge display. The other feature I find useful is its bluetooth connectivity with my phone which makes alerts, calls, notifications and messages pop up temporarily on the GPS. It took a little time figuring out how to change routes especially if you are used to using Google maps. This was a good upgrade for my Magellan Maestro.

I am pleased with my new Garmin SmartDrive GPS, being new to the state of Nevada having relocated from Torrance, CA. The Garmin GPS has been an indispensable aid.

It is so much better than larger units and the sound is loud enough to be heard when music is playing. It is also easy to carry around on city streets.

Got this for my husband who is not a high tech guy. He loves the hands free features and finds it very easy to use.

This is the most user friendly GPS that I have found on the market. I bought this for my 79 year old father and he uses it without any problems.

I purchased these for my company vehicles. They are very nice, easy to use and allows our cell phones to be used as cell phones, not GPS units.

Great GPS that automatically re-calculates my nearest route without the annoying "re-calulating" and "u-turn" voices going off because of a detour.

this is like having a brain in the dash board because it is a no brainer. It works perfect for my needs and expectations.

We have used it on several trips, latest was Houston. It worked great. We are taking it to Utah next week, will check it out in the mountains.

What an upgrade - had a garmin from 7 years ago - this thing is awesome - has Bluetooth for phone calls also
