GPS was easy to set up. I have used it several times on road trips and it worked great. I highly recommend it.

I have always preferred the Garmin GPS devices, and this one is the best I have ever used. It includes everything I would want in a GPS.

I love this unit it’s super responsive on the keyboard considering my job calls for going to multiple addresses in a day I can type all my addresses in quickly and save them and just drive the voice command is working good for all my needs as well

Best GPS I have ever owned. It routes me around traffic and it even responds to my voice commands. I love it.

I would like to say I am very glad I purchased this Garmin DriveSmart 55..I'm 53 years of age and its very easy to use.. I love the built in WIFI ..when driving on the freeway or highway it shows exit number exit .lane or lanes you should be in. Rout and Steet name are audio very clear and understandable.. The Truth I can't say 1 bad thing about it...I would like to Thank the Saleman @ Best Buy that told me this is the best GPS he has sold and he has worked there for 4 years..

When I driving to Columbus, Ohio last week I had both my cell phone app for navigation and also my Garmin DriveSmart 55 operating at the same time. In a complex Traffic pattern in this inner city the Garmin would give me the lane change Garmin information a 1/2 mile before it was needed and the cellphone would respond 10 seconds before it was needed. I believe a lot of the irresponsible drivers out there are that way because they use their cellphone navigation systems, and they could be a NICE person.

I like the built-in bluetooth feature to enable current traffic condition. The voice command is also a convenient feature

I was very excited to get this gps. The only other dedicated gps I have owned was a TomTom One circa 2007ish. Let's start with the good points: bright screen, fast gps lockon, sturdy window cup, pairs to smart phone for extra features, shows upcoming speed zones and other signs, voice controlled. Now the bad.... This does have Bluetooth BUT not compatible with headsets or car radios. It has a built in mic and can be used as a hands free device with your phone, but it's so so at that. There is NO A2DP Protocol. Older ones had it, but the newer ones do not, so you will not be able to pair into your car audio or, in my case, a motorcycle headset. I ride with a sena 10s in my helmet, and it has a dedicated gps mode to interrupt your music or calls with gps info. They would like you to buy a dedicated motorcycle gps with this ability for over 3 times the cost. This brings up their support. I contacted them twice about issues, one being traffic cameras would error out, to which they told me just to exchange it where I bought it. Okay... Second time was about the a2dp issue, and it clearly didn't make it past the computer chat not to a real person on this occasion. All I got was "this model does not support a2dp". Neat. If you need any of these features, Garmin isn't your brand apparently unless you want to spend bigger amounts.

Purchased as a gift. Good for the younger person if they a going to start driving and the car doesn't have one.

Updated our Garmin for this one so that built-in Bluetooth would work for phone. Clarity of voice good. Dual screen a plus.

I love this Garmin the sound is awesome it is easy to use and makes finding my way around so much easier.

This item is great. It's very easy to use. Just talk to it and it takes you where you want to go.

The Garmin Drivesmart 55 replaced another brand GPS, which died after 10 years of use and needed necessary technological and feature options updates. Have used the Garmin for just over a week, and it has performed exceptionally well on both very long and short trips. Most features are intuitive, some take a little searching. But totally satisfied in meeting my needs. Lots of features/options for a reasonable price. Will likely stick with this brand versus the earlier brand I used. Highly recommend the Garmin.

Most think these are out dated but they are way much easier to use than phone easier to see and just more user friendly.

So far so good. Being a history major it even gives historical locations on the maps. Nothing fancy but it works great. Enjoy the ability to talk via the GPS.

Works well not too expensive. Sticks to window. Can be updated in the car without having to plug in computer online.

Easy to use and installation was a snap. Just say the address and Garmin does the work for you!

This is great because it will take us anywhere. Sits perfectly on the dash for ease of use.
