Just put in gps coordinates and away we go. The fact that the updates are so easy to do to keep up to date on the road changes is awesome!! The app completely interacts with it so nicely & the Bluetooth for the phone is great. Ha do this unit for around 2 yrs and still enjoying it to this day……

It's also very helpful by showing you food, gas and lodging on your route. I keep it in the car for long road trips.

Beware traffic functionality!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This GPS has many more features than my old Nuvi 50 and is reasonably intuitive to use, although I did have to download the user guide to figure how to enable/disable some features. Biggest issue is that if you read the fine print, traffic functionality is only fully enabled when paired with a smart phone with data, or you purchase a separate transponder cable for $60-70, which I did since I still use an old flip phone. Couldn't find transponder in stock in any local store, so had to order on-line. Once set-up, works great!

Great GPS and easy to use

After doing online research I ordered online as well for store pickup. So easy to shop this way. I love all the new features this Garmin possesses and ease in updating maps. It gives this senior citizen confidence in taking solo long distance road trips.
