I purchased this Garmin as a replacement for a 15 year old Garmin Nuvi that suddenly stopped working. The new Garmin has many new features I find useful. It provides info on extis coming up i.e. availablity of food, fuel and lodging as well as distances to upcoming towns. I found these features useful in driving across sparsely populated areas of the country.

Works great and has incredible extras. I highly recommend it.

Great unit. Replacing an older garmin unit. Sold garmin gps for years love their units.

Using Waze and other phone related mapping is great, but we realized from our other road/camping trips, no cell no maps, so we went back to a standalone GPS system. In general Garmin works great, but like any GPS system even for a phone based one, the algorithm used to define a route still has it's limitations. I always rely on a physical map with GPS as a supplement to that information. There are still quirks that exits including the POV offramp feature, which is good but not always the best.

Easy to use. Display is clear and bright. Works well with my phone.

Very fast upload. very clear. only wish I would have purchased the larger unit.

This product is simple to use and I enjoy the voice activated feature.

Took me a little while to get use to it. Once I did, it was great. It makes me feel secure.

Has voice recognition but doesn’t activate with voice command. Will randomly activate with a noise from the radio, or just out of the nowhere. The screen is very clear does well with traffic up ahead or any warnings. Wish it was easier to see different route options, it will automatically pick what it believes is the fastest route. It’s not as easy to use as google maps.

So far the best GPS to date, I travel the Great Lakes Area with no problems.

So far s good. Haven't had a chance of using it on a long trip but shot trips it's spot on.

I bought this Garmin to replace one which quit working after only 1 year. I hope this one lasts longer than that. I did not feel the traffic option was working as I found myself in a traffic tie up and was not notified. Also did not warn me about a toll bridge even though I had that option selected so that is the reason for 4 stars. Other than that the GPS performed very well. I do wish there was a feature that made it easy to adjust your route to your own specifications.
