Good GPS

I like the interface better and appreciate the voice controls. However, the device doesn’t follow the simple instruction of calculating the fastest route; I’m always fighting through traffic because the so called live traffic feature can’t actually identify congestion. I’m still figuring out how to use it, but this one aspect should not be this difficult to figure out.

Great alternative for GPS other than a Phone

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using Waze and other phone related mapping is great, but we realized from our other road/camping trips, no cell no maps, so we went back to a standalone GPS system. In general Garmin works great, but like any GPS system even for a phone based one, the algorithm used to define a route still has it's limitations. I always rely on a physical map with GPS as a supplement to that information. There are still quirks that exits including the POV offramp feature, which is good but not always the best.

It’s ok, does it’s job.

Will randomly activate with a noise from the radio, or just out of the nowhere. The screen is very clear does well with traffic up ahead or any warnings. Wish it was easier to see different route options, it will automatically pick what it believes is the fastest route. It’s not as easy to use as google maps.

Solid Choice

Combines like 3 of my favorite qualities from 3 cellular apps. Much prefer this over relying on my phone.
