This was a replacement GPS and I stuck with Garmin as I've always been happy with their products. This is a nice, small GPS. The screen is very clear and easy to see and the unit is easy to program. It gives good warnings and alerts (e.g., let me know the interstate was closed). Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

This GPS from Garmin is very nice near HD quality. The screen looks very clear not like the old Garmin GPS screens that had very large pixels. It connects to your Android or iOS. And works as a Bluetooth speaker. Very nice

This is a very intelligent GPS, thin, small bezel and the perfect size for a smaller vehicle. The voice assistant works as well as can be expected in a car moving down the road, better when it is quiet. The search feature is nice and destination addresses can be dictated to the unit while you drive. It connects wonderfully to my phone and handles text messages in a very safe way. It was so worth the additional cost over the cheaper models.

Bought 2 to replace 2 older Garmin's. My family one uses Garmin, easy to use, easy to update software, easy to transfer all saved locations from old to new, has red light warning, free traffic, lots of other goodies like sharp turn ahead, school zone etc.

The gps works well and does what I need. I do have a problem with installing Garmin Express software. Many people have said it wont install. I had that problem also, It said installing netfx472. That is net framework. so I went to the Microsoft website and downloaded it manually, only to find out it had about 8 prerequisite programs. I don't think the antivirus has anything to do with it not installing, as they claim on their website. After jumping through all the hoops, I finally got it up and running. I really don't see any use for this because I cant program any destinations with it hooked up to my computer. I haven't tried updating the maps, because I already did that in the car. So after the updates I started getting nag messages from Microsoft saying my processor is not compatible with my operating system. I have an i7-8700k running on windows 8.1 professional. I had to roll my system back to an earlier date to get rid of all that junk I installed including the garmin express software. I bought this to use in my car and on my motorcycle which will need a mount and power source.

Big improvement over the NUVI. Easy to use and data entry was easier.

This was a replacement for a Garmin I purchased about 10 years ago. This one is even better. It has more features and is always accurate. I update it regularly.

OK - I'm old school. I still use a Garmin GPS rather than use my phone for directions. This is very clear, easy to use and is slightly thinner than previous models. I also think the suction cup holds onto the window better - or maybe it's just the fact that it's new.

Easy to read and use. After 5 minutes was able to operate without issue. Getting started was bumpy as layout was quirky but was able to set up for my ease of use quickly. The extras were a nice bonus. History channel markers and upcoming locations is great! Found lots of places on travels didn’t even know were there.

The navigation system works great. Very handy as it doesn't depend on the cellular data network to function and the big screen makes it easy to navigate by a glance.

My wife and I have a his and her’s Garmin. We both travel all over the world and our Garmins have never failed us. We get maps from Garmin specific for the places we travel and drive, such as, Australia, Eastern and Wester Europe, South America, Canada and Africa to name a few. Garmin support is amazing and there if you run into any problem. Some will tell you that all you need is your map apps on your Smart phone. Well try using them when you’re in isolated places in Alaska, New Foundland, Middle East, etc. Not to mention the lag time in cell tower signals that could cause you to miss a turn. I don’t go to unfamiliar places without our Garmins.

My teenage son’s first car is an older model without built in GPS. This was a gift for him as he begins to venture out on his own. It’s very easy to use and actually I like it better than the built in one in my more up to date car.

Excellent GPS with build in bluetooth. It also connects to a back-up camera which I purchased and works like a dream in my older truck. Garmin is top quality GPS, trafic updates excellent quality look nowhere else.

this is my 3rd garmin road GPS it is easy to use and I love the voice command feature. In addition the Bluetooth features are great. Besides this unit I also have had 2 handheld GPS units from Garmin that no one can compete with.

This is a great tool for those of us who don't have Apple Car play or navigation. It has great detail and built in blue tooth so your text messages come up on the screen! Big screen too... really love it! Perfect for my car!

We are very happy with this GPS unit. I was able to connect it to my phone, so it provides up-to-date traffic along the route, even suggesting alternative routes that would save time.

I purchased the "Garmin - DriveSmart 55 & Traffic - 5.5" GPS with Built-In Bluetooth - Black" to replace my old 20 year old GPS. I love this new Garmin. I have entered several addresses into my "saved" list, including my home address. Then, with voice activation, all I have to say is 'Hey Garmin...Go Home' (or another saved location) and it routes me there from what ever location I'm at. No fiddling around with pushing buttons while driving. If I decide to take a different route, it will automatically synch to another route option as I'm driving. I have found the directions to be very accurate. It also reminds me with audible 'dings' when the speed limit changes. It also shows on the screen the estimated time of arrival. The 5.5" screen is just the right size, as it is big enough to see all of my info without obstructing my view in my front windshield. I highly recommend this GPS.

Owned several GPSs throughout the years and this is the best out of them all. I’ve always owned Tomtom but wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something different...so I got this Garmin Drivesmart 55 and love the Bluetooth feature connecting smartphone to gps. Comes with wire for connection to car outlet (cigar lighter socket) not usb and the suction cup mount to the windshield. Plug and play. You can also connect gps to WiFi for update. I recommend this to anyone.

This is the second Garmin GPS I've had. They are generally easy to use; and are fairly accurate. It was extremely helpful on my cross-country trip from Pennsylvania to Nevada.

Got the Garmin DriveSmart 55 and traffic. So far have had minimal use but the screen is great easy to set up and use. Have trip planned in future will get more use then.
