I absolutely love the garmin edge 520. Great color display and the map/turn directions is awesome so you can just enjoy the ride. I preplan my routes and its really easy to upload them onto the computer. Its fun to look what others ride in the area to get new ideas thanks to garmin connect. Super easy to use, easy to see/read in day and night. LOVE IT!

Great unit. Very reliable so far. Wish I would have spent the extra $100 for 820 model to have full map/GPS capabilities but the 520 really does work great for me overall!

I would definitely recommend this for anyone who would like to keep accurate account of their riding experience.

Bought the Garmin edge 520 about 3 weeks ago. I enjoy having my stats on my bike right in front of me. I also can use my Garmin Vivo HR to sync with the Edge 520 for my HR. Also the salesperson that helped me in the Best Buy store sold me the Garmin Edge 520 for the same price that it sold for on Amazon.com.

I've been using the Garmin Edge 25, which is a good cycling GPS when paired with the speed, cadence, and heart rate sensors. However, the edge 25 doesn't have all the features that I wanted. So I upgraded to the Edge 520, and couldn't be happier. The screen is just large enough to display all the data I want to see while riding. The screen is completely customizable. The 520 alerts you to stared Strava segments, so you no longer have to memorize where they start and end. Can be paired with the sensors I've already mentioned as well as a power meter and Shimano Di2 shifters if you have them. I don't have experience with the Garmin 800 series so I can't compare it to those. Overall its a great cycling GPS.

I am an avid cyclist that enjoys tracking my progress and this bike computer is awesome- it almost tracks too much data. It’s mapping capability is limited but that can be easily upgraded on your own. If you’re not into numbers this computer might be too much for you but it’s perfect for my needs!

I've had several Garmin products over the years, including the 500 and Edge 1000. This 520 was for a different bike and location. I love how it connects with the Garmin Connect account and Strava to keep track of the rides. The interface is not as easy as the Edge 1000, but still familiar and gets easier as you work with it more. The screen is bright enough even in sunlight, and with bluetooth enabled and your phone handy, it can alert you to missed texts and calls if you need to know. A full featured GPS device in a smaller package than the Edge 1000. I like it!

I never thought that I'd need one of these until I noticed everyone in my riding group had one of some kind. asking a few questions, I learned how useful they can be so I bought this one and couldn't be happier. the speed is accurate, maps are detailed and features all of the important info any serious rider would need right on the display

this item is great for bikers who want to track their ride and keep track of their heart rate

Now I enjoy more rides than before with my Garmin 820

This is my first smart GPS riding computer and it has been great so far. Links up automatically with my HRM and power meter. You can even use it for Strava.

Upgraded from an Edge 510. Like this 520 much better!

I bought this to replace my edge 510. Great decision as this is a much better and easier to operate Bike GPS. I am completely satisfied with this device.

Best bike computer I have used. Easy use and view stats while riding. Sync to with Garmin connect on iphone. Both my running and biking stats are in the same App.

Getting used to customizing and using it. It is a great pedometer.

I upgraded to the Edge 520 and I can't say enough about all the information I see as I'm on my ride. I also purchased the Garmin bike radar system, which requires the Edge 520 computer at minimum and they work perfectly together. I am much safer when I'm around vehicles and I'm more aware of how I'm doing on my ride because of the Edge 520.

I'm sure there are things this can't do, but it's all I need and a whole lot more. Plays well with my Garmin sensors, tracks my rides - what more could you want?

this thing rocks! it tells me all the stuff I want to know during the ride on an easy to read display and when I get home, the upload completes and the app shows so much detail. love it!

I love all the features of the Garmin Edge 520. It lets me keep track of my miles, speed, time, etc. I like being able to look back and see my monthly totals using Garmin Connect.
