I use this watch to track all my fitness stuff. It also has a great golf tracker to tell you distances based on your gps position. I previously had an Apple Watch and am deep in the Apple ecosystem but I don’t think I’ll be going back. This watch integrates well with my iPhone for my needs.

I work with my hands and in doing so bang around on a lot of things metal.....this watch has held up really well, no scratches to the glass and only a small scuff to the metal. Knowing the abuse Ive already put it through, I am very impressed. The battery life has a range of a couple days to half month depending on the sensors and watch settings. I have mine set to run 16 days in between charges. I have gotten over a week use and it was about 50 percent charge. The battery life is real. I enjoy the other features as well, but the durability and battery life stand out to me.

Beautiful watch.
The Epix is designed for an athlete or someone who wants advanced tracking with minimal smart interactions.
If you are used to the Apple eco system - my recommendation is for you to stick with the iWatch. You WIlLL have regrets if you switch to Garmin.
The Garmin is much more sophisticated. The iWatch is much easier to use. Battery life is amazing, the durability will last a life time and the comfort is very good - even when sleeping!
This is an honest and transparent review.

I was between this watch and the new Apple Ultra and I’m glad I chose this Garmin. For the price and features it really does do everything I need it to do, encourages me in my fitness, and has unbeatable battery life. The ultra is a better smart watch but the Garmin in my opinion is the best health tracker.

Garmin’s top-of-the-line outdoor watch is a great alternative to the Apple Watch Ultra, especially if you don’t have an iPhone. Big, beautiful screen for looking at your big, beautiful maps. Tough and durable. Incredible satellite support. Measures every conceivable health metric and then some. NFC payment and music.

Ive had the watch for a year and its been amazing. The baterry last 5-6 days without compensating any of the features (thats also with always on display). I also work in construction and its taken a massive beating and still looks brand new!

Very functional Device. Battery goes on and on and on … can easily get ten days with good regular use of the features. Very feature rich watch. The thing I don’t like (and hence 4 stars) .. the user experience takes a bit of getting used to. I have had it for a few months and I still feel like I don’t fully get how to use some of the features (I am a very techy guy). It leads to giving up and not utilizing some of the features the device offers because it’s just not that intuitive to get to.

Garmin Epix Gen 2 GPS smartwatch Black Titanium 33mm watch: the watch has an amoled screen which is absolutely wonderful to look at or read. The information you can put on the screen is quite impressive and very variable according to your personal needs. The battery life is great as is the fit.

No regrets purchasing this model of watch. I have buying and wearing Apple Watches ever since they came. I have Apple Series2, 3, 4 , and 5 and they all look the same. The part I hate the most is the short battery life span. With this Garmin watch I don’t have to worry about that and it haves plenty other features are I am learning about. No regrets buying this watch to point that decided to buy the Margin Venu 2 is in the mail. Very happy with purchase!! God bless everyone!!

You can give up your Apple Watch and not look back. The extended battery life and ability to upload a map that works when there is no cell service trumps Apple Ultra. When the touch screen isn’t responsive because you’re wearing gloves, hands are wet or dirty, the ability to fully operate the watch with the buttons trumps the Ultra. You can receive text, call, and calendar notifications to stay informed but not tethered (you must reply on your phone). Garmin’s design is focused on getting you outside and back home safely while staying informed and provide helpful feedback on your health and fitness. It’s not a phone on your wrist (Ultra). Go outside, go Garmin. I’m still working and my job dictates I need a phone on my wrist but next year my retirement gift is this watch to take me on my outdoor adventures.

I love this watch! It feels premium, durable, and best of all I don’t have to upgrade every year for example, an Apple Watch. I do not have to worry about dropping it. Overall this is my favorite fitness tracker without a doubt!

Great watch. All the features are working as advertised. The precision in GPS data is pretty remarkable. Compatibility with HR chest straps is great, and all data is very nicely presented on the app. It is a MUST for any outdoor/fitness enthusiast. Does almost everything the Pro model does, but for almost half the price (when on sale). Battery life is amazing. With adaptive display, you can go 2 weeks without charging it (while running/hiking). The strap could have been a little more comfortable.
