Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Forerunner 15 GPS watch's GPS accuracy, ease of use, and ability to track pace, distance, and steps. Many appreciate the large display size, making it easy to read. However, some users point out that the battery life could be improved, and the lack of continuous heart rate monitoring is a drawback for some. The price point is frequently cited as a positive aspect.

Watch is great. I had the forerunner 10 for a long time and it started having issues connecting to track my distance. Used this for my first half marathon and it worked great. I got mine on clearance or I would have opted for the 35 for the Bluetooth connection option.

I decided to run a marathon and needed some supplies to get started, one being a gps watch. My wife has a very large garmin that cost an arm and a leg, this one is just as accurate and was 1/4 the price and is so much more comfortable. You only see 2 categories at a time but that is plenty for me. I am not trying to win this race just finish. I think this is a great intro watch for anyone who doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars.

WE bought this watch for our grandson for his 11th birthday - he really has enjoyed it, but he still needs to learn more about the complete functionality.

This is a good basic GPS watch. It captures the satellites quickly and gives very accurate distance and time measurements.

I received this as a gift to replace a worn out Garmin 305 and a Nike/Tomtom that stopped syncing. Overall I think it does a great job and exactly what it's supposed to do. The PC sync is very fast and the Garmin dashboard - while a bit busy with options - is very useful. No real manual to explain all of the dashboard features keeps it from a 5 star review. The display is clean and easy to read which helps someone like me that uses readers. I don't have to squint to figure out my pace or distance. If you have an older Garmin heart rate band it should work with this watch. Mine connected right away. I'm a 2x per year marathon runner so this gets used 52 weeks a year. I would recommend it for any runner. Lack of dual sport mode for cycling is the only thing I wished it had included, but that feature does exist at a higher price point.

I purchased this watch for my grandson who is in middle school. He plays on a high level competitive soccer team, basketball and is planning to run on a cross country team. He runs daily and love this watch to keep track of his progress

I switched from using my Android phone with the the Nike+ app and I'm glad I did. I got tired of not being able to see the phone's screen when I carried the phone in an armband. The Garmin's GPS is very accurate and pairs very well with the Garmin Connect website providing me with all of the details of my run including a map of the routes I run. Additionally, I only have to charge the watch very 4-5 days!

Have not tried it on a bike ride yet but works well in a run. Wish it would show heart rate and pace on same screen. Garmin software seems to work pretty well.

This GPS watch performs better than expected for this price point. I have not owned a GPS/running watch for almost 5 years and the technology has come a long way, battery life, water resistance, size and features have improved dramatically. The Forerunner 10 appears to do some of the things as some Garmins at higher price points. There are minor limitations: the buttons are very easy to push, this is helpful when running but inconvenient when not, very easy to accidentally push them and change a field or turn on the GPS. There are pretty narrow limits on what information can be seen, the screen is small of course, so two data points is all that is realistic, however, you only get two data screens and two options for each. These imitations aside, for this price, ease of use and reliability, this is a winner.
