Love my new watch

I like it

I wanted a face big enough to read without my glasses. I wanted something I could easily wash with soap and water. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The GPS is really cool and it came with a heart rate monitor (which I haven't used yet) It doesn't communicate wirelessly with your phone - you will need a newer model for that (more money) This one connects to you computer with USB cable.

Good watch for a beginner runner

Enough Forerunner to start with
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Garmin Forerunner 15 has the "essential" features of a GPS running watch that anyone starting may need: GPS, passive activity monitoring, "Garmin Connect" compatibility (online, social, tracking) - gives feedback and motivation. The "15" allows you to add heart rate transmitter strap and foot pod for more advanced training. I bought this for my wife who is restarting running - this tool helps make the transition more effective and efficient. (I use the Garmin Forerunner 620 now, the 210 before that; Garmin GPS products have helped me enjoy "more running more", not to mention golf and driving more too.)
