I previously owned another Garmin from 2009 and finally needed to get a new one. I am satisfied with this watch, it does exactly what I need it to do. Track my runs and biking with GPS. It easily downloads to the computer through its USB connection and only takes seconds. This watch is smaller and be more appealing for a lady to wear but I wanted this color so it will do. When I do a mud run like the Spartan Beast, I just tape up the band with electric tape for added support. I will keep my eyes open for a larger band versus the small band (it does say small when you buy this). The battery life is also impressive compared to my older Garmin. If I forget to charge this up it will still be good for a run or two on the following days. I average 25 miles a week. So my runs are any where between 30 minutes to an hour average. So the battery is pretty good for this type of runner.

Originally I was going to buy the Fitbit, but after talking with the super patient employees at Best Buy, I went with the Garmin Forerunner 15, instead. The accurcy is on point and it's super easy to use. It's light weight and you can choose from two sizes. The online features that synce with my computer give me all the data from my runs and tracks how many steps I've taken throughout my day.

I purchased this watch after trying and returning the forerunner 220, which I found to be far too complicated. I've run competitively for more than 20 years and have been resistant to watches other than my faithful ironman, but the stats this watch gathers have been so helpful with my training. And I like being able to track my sleep too. The technology works great with my Mac and I check the stats on my iPhone too. Though it seems I can only get my sleep stats on the phone app. But the best thing was that it was easy to figure out. Instructions were simple and I had everything set up within one short evening. Gps is sometimes slow to connect, and I do miss having a countdown timer, but other than that I love this watch. Plus the color is great and size isn't too large.

I am a first time GPS watch user and I was a bit nervous about it. It has nice features: timer, pedometer (it usually gives me a little more steps than I actually took), split times per mile, and an option to have a time set to run for a certain time and then walk for a certain time if you are doing interval training. I also really enjoy how small it is compared to many other watches I looked at.
The only down sides I would say is that when using the GPS setting, the battery drains pretty quickly and the over-counting of my steps by a little. But then again, it's pretty easy to pop it onto the charger.
Overall, I am very happy with this watch.

I love the GPS and other running features on this watch. It is very easy to use, as well. I am not impressed with the pedometer, however. I like my FitBit One better. When I workout on the elliptical, the watch doesn't count steps, but FitBit does. It's probably because I'm holding onto the rails and my arm isn't moving with the watch, and the FitBit is attached to my bra so the steps count.

I like this model, easy to use & fits my needs. I Run 2 -3 day a week. Gives a good breakdown of time, miles, & pace. I also use with the heart rate monitor, which gives you complete heart rate data. Able to upload date simply.

I have participated within the sports world from the very time I can think back to as a young child. I played Basketball at OSU for two years, and finally decided it was time to hang the jersey up and throw in the towel. For any person whom has dedicated a large portion of their life to a highly competitive physical activity, and came to the realization that it was time put it down, knows how devastating it feels. It was like I lost a part of me. So, I dabbled in various types of exercise, even joined a small basketball league. For years, nothing satisfied my inner self competition, constantly striving to go harder, faster, and smarter. I was never fully involved nor familiar with the aspect of solely just running. Long story short, I am now, absolutely in love with lacing up my running shoes and taking off. Sometimes not even knowing what type of workout I was going to engage in OR other times, I end up just lightly jogging with a smile on my face and two dogs running right along with me. The Garmin watch is currently assisting me significantly in my daily training, in preparation for my very first Triathlon! The applications on my Garmin are extremely beneficial along with very accurate in feedback on my workouts. The battery life is amazing! I love how I do not have the worry of having to one, change out a battery, two buying the appropriate battery replacement, and three losing any data should the battery life completely give out!

I used the Forerunner 10 before getting this watch and I had no complaints, but I wanted the 15 for the pedometer and other features. Overall it's not much different, I don't really like the "Move!" alerts which I adjusted, but still a great watch and I like having the option to track my steps and use the heart rate monitor. Getting location for the GPS feature always seems to take a while on the new watches, but after a few times it gets faster and faster. Battery life is excellent as well!

First running watch I've owned and I must say it's very good. I have it on during every run. The buttons are easy to use. It even has a GPS to track just about everything from mileage to pace. I love it!

This is my first running watch, and I am pretty happy with it. I'm currently training for a half marathon and it is mostly meeting my needs.
Only complaints are that the GPS can sometimes be slow to connect (especially in big cities with tall buildings), and that with frequent runs, the watch needs to be charged fairly often (~once/week).
Good things:
Good functionality for price
Simple watch/interface, does just what you need
No battery drainage from bluetooth syncs. Must plug in to sync
Settings for what is displayed while running are very customizable
Size is great for an average to small wristed female!

More accurate than my phone on keeping track of my runs. Took a bit to figure out. I wish it came with the HR monitor, but for the price it does the trick

I upgraded from Nike+ to the Garmin hoping for an increase in accuracy. The Garmin is definitely more accurate on distance. It can be hit or miss on elevation gain. For example, in running the same 3.5 mile route twice, the distance traveled differed by about .1 miles, but the elevation gain differed by 20 feet. The difference in elevation gain is quite a bit considering it's less than 80 feet in reality. Overall, the Garmin is easy to use and I am content with what it provides me. I wish it could be smaller like the Nike+ or FitBit, though.

The 15 is exactly what I was seeking. Live in a dense part of Chicago and it synchs/tracks perfectly. Size is right (female wrist), colour is nonobtrusive but sporty, and it's very easy to use. Not certain about the "steps" but have had it for a month, might need more time to get it sorted. In sum: it's exactly what I wanted to track my walks/jogs thru city streets and parks without error.
