My previous watch was a 645. The 265 has a much brighter display and easier to navigate menu. The adaptive coach training program has been really helpful. I really like the night mode which dims the display so as not to blind you in bed.

some features hidden from paywall subscription and watch is a little overpriced but the body battery and stress metrics are very spot on!

Wow! I never thought a smartwatch could break down my workouts like the Garmin Forerunner 265. Amazing data, easy to navigate with the amoled display. Would highly recommend to any fitness enthusiasts!

This watch has taken my training to the next level! Excellent stats/metrics delivered daily to help you break your next record. Only downside is it cannot fully integrate with iPhone the way only Apple Watch can.

I got this watch on sale for about 40% off, and it's fantastic! It is responsive, comfortable and I love the way it looks. It also feels nicer than any smartwatch I've owned before. The strap this comes with is different to the silicone straps that lower end models from Garmin come with, and for me that is a blessing. The silicone ones always irritated my skin like crazy, and this one gives me no issues whatsoever! It also has a decent battery life, lasting about 7 or 8 days on a full charge, and thats with a few settings changed that reduce overall battery life. It is also very easy to clean, as all I have needed to do is rinse with water and allow to dry. Overall, I love this watch!

I love this product. The watch is durable, easy to navigate, long battery life, and is a fitness watch with smart watch features. You can take it for a swim and just as accurate in the water than it is on land. It does everything I want it to do. The sleep tracker was a huge attraction for me as well. Provides data on all cycles of sleep.

battery life lasts for about 7 days on always display mode. Great at tracking sleep and exercise (compared to Apple Watch). Very comfortable to wear. Older version but would recommend.

I picked up the Forerunner 265 mainly for its GPS and training features, and it’s exceeded expectations. The AMOLED display is crisp and easy to read outdoors, and the interface feels intuitive without being overly flashy. I’ve used it for running, hiking, and even a few swim sessions—GPS accuracy is solid, and the multi-band support makes a noticeable difference in tracking. Battery life is decent. I get through several workouts before needing a charge, though it’s not quite as long-lasting as some other Garmin models I’ve tried. Still, for what it offers—especially the training readiness insights and HRV tracking—it’s a fair trade-off. Music storage is a nice bonus, though syncing can be a little clunky. Once it’s set up, though, it’s great not having to carry my phone on runs. The build quality feels premium, and the 46 mm size works well for my wrist—lightweight but sturdy. Overall, this watch hits the sweet spot between performance and usability. If you’re serious about training and want something that doesn’t just look good but actually helps you improve, the Forerunner 265 is worth it.

Prior apple watch user here. This one does everything the apple watch did but doesnt die after 24 hours. In fact I charge watch once a week! Its light and easy to sleep with for those who wish to track their sleep.
